I don't think IF we have to sell the players quoted, we will get those amounts for Medel or Caulker!

If we go down there is a plan in place to take us back up, a few players will be sold and a few brought in. Marshall 2mil and Caulker 8-10 don't think so

Fabio for £2m?! My eyes are bleeding

I will give you £15m for Caulker, Marshall and Mutch.

Re: big sale at the city,,this summer

If we sold Caulker for 8 million it would be one of the most retarded decisions we have made. Stewart Downing went for 20 million, people quoting Luke Shaw at 40 million, fkin Andy Carroll 35 million, James Milner 25 million, Henderson 20 million.

Some total shit has gone for more than Medel and Cualker cost, it is just the fact Mackay bought them that you moan about it. Palace have bought league 1 players but they have a manager that actually organises a team.

Wait until Medel is starting for CHile in the world cup, then tell he isn't worth 8 million

Without him we'd be long gone.

He wont go for more than £8m IMO.

If we all based our valuations on them every side would be worth billions. If andy carroll is worth £35m then bony is £120m on his own.

He is better than Ashley Williams and he is 21 and English. He will go for more than 8.

Tan couldn't stay there even when we were there because of his ego,WTF will his plan be to get us back there (probably insist on all fans signing over the deeds to their house.

forgot about mutch another 6 to 8 million

Re: big sale at the city,,this summer

caulker mutch will be in demand this summer. both young and english and both will go on to better things.. medel will be in demand both here and in spain, so i expect big money for him. i fancy liverpool will go for him too. Fabios name alone will bring decent money..and none of the above will fancy the championship. noone has embarrased a few defences this season and will go
if a decent offer comes in. You can get a young hungry championship team for 10 million or so.. all depends on tan i suppose..

Have to disagree. Caulker is far better than Williams, caulker has been banging the goals in this season, his defensive record is obviously not very good as the other 3 that play with him turner, Taylor, KTC are utter garbage.

Re: big sale at the city,,this summer

Tue Apr 08, 2014 2:36 pm

Caulker is NOT better than Williams.

Williams far more comfortable with the ball at his feet which is a big plus in this division.

Say what you want Polo but Caulker is English and young.. clubs will be stupid enough to fork out 12 million for him.

I can't see 12 mil being paid. Curtis Davies was 2.5 and has achieved a lot more than caulker this season.

Difficult to find a decent English centre back nowadays. Bearing in mind Curtis Davies is 30 and only played for England under 21's under 5 times.

When they played Man United at home I am sure they said he was 30 when he played v Stoke from commentary.

Does Tan seem like the kind of guy to sell on the cheap?.

Yes he sold Cornelius for a pittance but that was to do with the whole Mackay issue and to make a point.

If he is anything like he is with the fans, I can see him refusing peoples transfer requests.

We'll see

Re: big sale at the city,,this summer

Tue Apr 08, 2014 3:41 pm

Think we will struggle to get our money back on our two big signings but won't take the hit like the Cornelius deal. I like caulker but he is the organiser of our defence and has to take a lot of the responsibility of the fact that were at sixes and sevens against every opposition. Whoever signs him will need a old head in with him to let him do what he's good at until with experience he gains the other skills needed to be a top centre back . If it was a straight choice for a team looking for a c.b between caulker and Williams I think the only advantage for caulker would be his age.
If any team watched medel in the first half they wouldn't want him end of. He looks like he's gone already. The fact is with our impending relegation we won't have the bargaining power that staying up would have. Expect some undisclosed deals to save the club some face.
