28,29 weren't too bad. 30 I think is a decent enough match card, hopefully Bryan wins both matches :ayatollah:

Sports entertainment. You try and lift up a guy over 200 pounds and slam him on the mat and say it doesn't hurt. You watch movies/tv shows but at the end of the day it's not real, it's just acting

You know the things you watch on TV are not real either?

I stopped watching it years ago because it got very boring and stale but I won't belittle someone for watching it.

P.S there is a difference between fake and scripted, WWE is the latter.

Thank you!!

I'd love for these people who claim its fake to tell these professional athletes who have had years of experience, travelled from state to state, continent to continent, missed seeing their family, life threatening injuries such as Edge etc

Agree it went stale but it is picking up again :ayatollah:

How can WWE even be classed as a sport? It's not even wrestling

It's not a sport, it's sport entertainment. It is wrestling, even Indy feds(other than WWE) have choreographed moves etc.

It's gone boring since the 'attitude' era finished, ill still take a look at wrestlemania tho, normally flick through them quick, can't stand watching a whole match. Party is right tho, it's more entertainment as any other scripted program is such as eastenders, hollyoaks etc

P.s I would never pay for a PPV, watch it free the next day on the android box :thumbright:

Going over a mates for it see, so don't really pay anything, if I didn't, I'd just watch it on a stream. I think the Ruthless Aggression Era from 2006-2010? maybe was decent but now it's turned into a kiddy's show but still entertaining. Glad you agree though, so many people bash it but it's the same as a soap opera/movie although this happens live and a lot of people watch it!

I still watch it consistently and they do go over boundaries sometimes but like you said Linda McMahon was running for senate and the sponsorship they're receiving since going PG has benefited them incredibly, the product is still watchable if you're a fan of the wrestling and standout performers but can see why it isn't as popular to the older fans as it is now, hence why they have to get the older stars back for the big PPVs

I still watch the PPVs as they are usually much better , I don't watch Smackdown anymore though and Raw I kind of skip through as I find it virtually the same thing happening every week (and I can't stand Stephanie McMahon she gets on my nerves )

Massively over the top comment.

Same as watching breaking bad or a blockbuster movie.

The attitude era was like 1996-2002 something like that, when anything goes. The girls were wrestling in thongs, tits out everywhere, the birds these days got more clothing on than my nan. Vinny Mac would have everyone literally kissing his arse, used to be quite funny. Not sure about the aggression era didn't have sky sports then.

Those were the best ,Shawn Michaels feud with Bret Hart was 1 of the best around then , plus the Montreal screwjob .

Exactly, tell Foley him being thrown of the Cell was fake.

Taking suplexes everyday for most of the year would take its toll on anyone, especially considering their schedule (think they work live events nearly every day of the week) and travel commitments etc.

Thinking about it I may give it a watch for an hour and see what it is like but I doubt it'll be much different.
