Spot on jinks. To go to west brom and play like that especially after going down 2-0 so early, gives me great optimism. If we wernt so unlucky at the start we would of defo won, we destroyed them 2nd half. Some of the football under ole has been great, all he needs to do is get rid of the deadwood! Gunnarsson had a stinker, KTC also are just not good enough.

Jinks I have never lost the faith.
I thought at the start we wouldn't survive.

There's something special happening at the moment.

We need to get results in the next two games. WBA have both Man City and Chelsea next so we can easily still overtake them

Good point about WBA's games, lets hope Sunderland have a nightmare with their games in hand

Can't believe palace beat chelsea, Pulis is a top manager no denying that.

We were down the moment Tan sacked Mackay.

Gerintoem,c'mon city we can still do this! Great determination shown today, was'nt impressed with the starting lineup today,if I am honest,I think it could have been curtains if they went in two up,read another topic just now, could not believe some fans slating medel?? He has been immense these last four games, but when he makes a mistake, ala first half, they are off saying we would be better off without him on the pitch! I know age has caught up with the old eyesight, but he was class again today,ok he does'nt have that killer pass, but he reads the game brilliantly! To me he stood out today as the most intelligent player on the pitch.c'mon city!!!!

Not just beat Palace, but virtually go on a winning run  and hope other clubs slip up badly .

We are still only 3 points away from West Brom and other sides have a terrible run in, we have to still believe

Totally agree - keep on supporting the team until the very end........................and then more............we CAN stay up :bluescarf:

Re: We are not down yet

Newcastle home, palace away, Sunderland home and west ham home have killed us. The fact we can't seem to nick a win against the big teams besides man city has killed us to.

Play our best 11, Marshall, fabio, cala, caulker, turner, john, noone, medel, mutch, Daehli, Campbell.

And we will beat palace, stoke and sunderland. Pick up couple of draws or a surprise win against Newcastle, Southampton and Chelsea we will just stay up.

I think ole has got something about him it has been a few years since the last great escape in the premiership so another one is due ;)

Keep the faith we can do it be the 12th man :bluescarf: :ole:

Get down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Get down deeper and down

I want all the football world to see
To see we're laughing
And we're laughing at you
Again again again again again again again
Deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Get down deeper and down

Shame their 3 points came from an own goal, can't predict that shit. We've got a lot to do, no doubt!

Re: We are not down yet

This is how I see it:

Cardiff-Crystal Palace - Winnable; key 3 points.

Southampton-Cardiff - Tough match - 1 point at best considering opposition and away.

Cardiff-Stoke - Winnable; Poor team but have been striking well lately. Key 3 points if we can take them.

Sunderland-Cardiff - Winnable; Sunderland may not be the hardest opposition but tough game to play away and if they're on form they're a good team. Key 3 points here.

Newcastle-Cardiff - Not hoping for much - but we beat them with a better team in the FA Cup and their form is slipping. Perhaps 1, 3 if we're very lucky.

Cardiff-Chelsea - Again a very tough game, nail biter if this is the decider for relegation. Who knows though? Home fans may push the team for a point or more. Likely to lose on paper but if we play like we did against Liverpool anything could happen!

If we take 3 from Palace, Stoke and Sunderland and take 1 from the remaining games that gives us 36 points, which could be enough to survive. Norwich play top Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea last 4 games, we might be able to take an edge if they cock up before them.

Either way very nervous and hoping we take the 3 next week or I'm kinda lost for hope. Great comeback from the team today, just a shame to have lost 2 in the first ten mins. Gotta KTF, Lord knows I'm trying! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

always found the pl relegation battle really exciting as a neutral, now we're in it, i still find it really exciting. its certainly different. i just have hope, acceptance and enjoyment of whatever happens in what is left of this mad season. any pessimistic feelings passed some time ago, when i remembered whats really important is being there and supporting ccfc wherever it takes us, bring on palace :ayatollah: :bluescarf:
