Tan going to walk out...

Mon Mar 24, 2014 1:49 pm

At the game Saturday when everyone was signing "are you watching Vincent tan" anyone else see him going to walk out, just wondering if anyone in the know knows anything more to this and what he thinks after Saturdays blue protest in and out the ground?
Do you think he was walking out cos he was genuinely pissed off and then someone stopped him, or do you think he was just joking about...

joking about , I think he loves being a pantomime villain ,he loves the attention whether its good or bad

I thought he looked flustered, and then re-composed himself.

However, just a few minutes later he was doing the ayaytollah to the fans when we scored the second, so he was obviously not bothered or deluded. Id go for both.

im sorry guys. I know you would like to believe you got to him. When the sea of blue raised the flags, he turned his back on it and smiled. When some of the more unintelligent ones sung tan i a wanker at 22 minutes, he laughed. If anyone believe calling him a wanker will get anywhere, i wish you the best of luck! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Civility

your going to get the cretins throwing personal insults and name calling nowadays. Hopefully these scumy little fools chanting personal insults will be drowned out by fans who actually want to chant about the colour and get behind the team :happy1:

I think he turned back not to show we'd got to him. At 19:27 it was clear to see 90% of the stadium was against him and for a return to blue. If he'd walked out and returned we would see that as a huge victory

Don't think it bothers him in the least to be honest, at the end of the day he's the owner and he calls the shots. Doug Ellis endured years and years of abuse at Villa, he just used to laugh it off and tell the fans they could buy the club off him anytime as long as they had the money, if not he'd do what he thought was the best for the club. I just wonder who is planning on what to do if the march fails to have the desired effect, anyone trying to find someone who could afford to buy him out and getting in touch with them, or will it be more marches, or perhaps boycotts of matches?

To be honest a boycott of the stadium would have a greater effect and get tan thinking more and take the fans more seriously if the stadium was empty or even half empty

yes it would, but will never happen...even if you take the larger estimate of 5000 on the march, its nowhere near the 13,000 it would take to half empty the stadium and all that was required Saturday was to walk a mile or so, which almost everyone does as a norm.
who knows whats next?
there seems to be a lot of anger amongst those that protest towards others {who they see as dont care}
and an equal amount of anger the other way.{mostly because those being accused of not caring ,actually care passionately, and resent the snipes.......its an impossible situation as it stands tbh.
i dont think Tan will ever do a u turn as long as he is under pressure {if at all }, and the more abuse, the more pressure ..
and likewise, those who have taken to the streets with hatred of Tan are unlikely to take the heat off him ..
the only thing that is certain, is that the re brand has not worked.....

There was no anger shown to non protesters on Saturday, what a load of shit, it was a very peaceful protest.

A few times someone tried to get an anti-tan chant going and they never took off, the chants were mainly pro-blue and pro Cardiff City.

Acting tough, giving it the big one, dishing out abuse, blah, blah, bleh. Fair play fella youve talked some utter nonsense about the protest this last couple of days.

I can totally echo these words.

Towards the back there were a few who tried to start "Vincent Tan you're a wanker song" and the organisers did a fantastic job of stopping that and drowning out those singing these songs.... until they joined in with the pro blue songs.

As for anger to non protesters? That's utter bollocks. Peaceful protest that had applause from onlookers. Nothing else.

For someone who says they want to see the club play in blue, you don't half make up some bull shit to try and DISCREDIT anyone fighting for that thing you say you want. ( I can write random words in caps too!)
