Fabio was the top tackler in the Premier on the weekend with 8 tackles won from 9 attempts and also a 87% pass completion, the highest by a CCFC player.

Yes but just because he can tackle , cross and pass doesn't stop him being the whipping boy of this team . You should know by now some "supporters" need someone to pick on. I quite like Fabio I think he will be a major player for us .

Fabio is proving all the cluesless muppets on here wrong. Any1 with any type of footy brain can see the lad has bundles of talent.

The initial hate was completely justified.

However anyone who can't see how much he's improved needs to open their eyes.

Fabio is beginning to show why Man U acquired him. He already looks good (with the odd gaff), but with regular games under his belt he will become a major asset.

When he first joined he was dreadful was he not? So you are allowed to criticise a player if he performs badly. Don't get on your high horse because you didn't criticise him when he played badly.

Dreadful? No I would call a player like cornelius dreadful. Like I said only the clueless could not see he was going to improve after a few games, and we all know who they are on here, specifically the milky lovers.

Well he is one of our best defenders now going by Saturdays stats, well done Ole on another class signing :ole:

There is a big difference in criticized and total write off. Like the lot of you did with every solkjaer signing and even solkjaer.
Now you start crawling back and weep "we had the right to".. This is just one of the players settling, so there will be a lot more humble pie to go around a while yet :laughing6:

He didn't even play in defence for the majority of that match mind.

He's done well & a few good games doesn't make him "class", just like a few bad games didn't make him "bad".

So people call him shit after a couple of poor games, but I can't call him class after a couple of good games :?

Well he was our best defensive midfielder on sat then, done better than the 12 million Medel signed by the messiah

I wasn't replying to you... :laughing6: wrong account?

I did watch the game & I'm surprised that anyone thought Fabio was playing in the same role as Medel.

Wasn't Medel's greatest game, no, but he's done more than enough this season to show his value to this team.

12 million pounds worth of value? :? 2/3 players could of been bought for that price if Ole was at the helm. Huddlestone was only 5 and has outperformed Medel chipping in with goals as well. At the end of the day milky overpaid for players, I am glad he is gone as he risked the clubs future with his overspending. Atleast we now have a manger who gets more than value for money with players signed.

As iv always stated Medel is way overpriced, 5 million at best. So fabio played out wide and had better defensive stats than our key defensive midfielder, says alot really.

If you think Fabio played as a defensive midfielder on Saturday, I'm guessing you didn't watch the game at all.

Getting skinned every time and being caught out of position for a full back is the definition of dreadful.

I wasn't convinced when he first signed but happy to see him prove me wrong recently. But he deserved to be criticised as did many other players this season who have played poorly

You blind old timer iv already replied to this once. I'm not suggesting he played Medels role, I'm suggesting he played a better defensive role than Medel pea brain

I said going by Saturdays stats he is one of our best defenders, even tho he played midfield you do realise all midfielders have defensive attributes as well not just attacking

Comparing him with Medel. :laughing6:

You can't go by Saturday though, as he wasn't playing in defence. :thumbright:

Re: Fabio top tackler

I think we are just starting to see the team get on the same page.

I really hate the whole "X player is better than Y player"

It's a team game, people will have off days, and that's when you should know your team has your back - and that teamwork aspect is really starting to come through with each game.
