This peaceful march won't work

Wed Mar 12, 2014 4:28 pm

As much as I admire the idea and commitment, and I will be there, it won't work. Tan has said he won't change the club back to blue under his reign. The only way blue will return is if he's gone and has said he would leave if the fans continue to piss him off. So how is a peaceful march with no anti tan songs going to work. I think we are kidding ourselves abit, many need to make a decision,do you want him gone(blue) or not(red)?..nonetheless I'll be there :ayatollah:

Totally agree with you.

Tan is never going to change us back to blue, the time for nicey nicey protests are over, this should be a Tan Out protest.

He will only leave if enough show they want him gone and until then we wont be getting our identity back. Simple as that.

The thing is.The more that Tans decisions are opposed in public in the media and on television'and the more he is shown to have made mistakes'the more the buisness community in the far east will question his judgement. They are already.Even his big pal the prime minister of Malaysia has voiced his concerns. If his buisness credibility continues to be questioned the fat cats of Malaysia will begin to distance themselves from him.He would then become a liability.Losing face is seen as weakness. They dont do weakness over there.Keep up the protests. They may just spell the begining of the end for Mr Tan.

So in fact you are saying he wont budge because he will loose face. No matter what he cant change us back to blue, as this will be looked at as weakness? :o

the nail has been hit on the head..only the person with the hammer dont get it.
he is never going to bow down to an abusive mob.......weakness isnt seen as an atribute in the far east
and our fans who continue to do it leave him no out { return to blue }
nahh..our fans are hard mean bastards..they can push him to the edge boy..pmsl..

What happened after the Liverpool protest calling for him gone. Malky wasnt sacked and I think he was beginning to question his judgement because of how good the fans were at anfield. However the next home game vs Soton we lost and fans were quail to exit after a lose. We need to decide what we want and stick with it.

It probably won't work. But there no harm in showing Tan and his advisors what we want, and if we actually organise something it looks better on us. There will be loads of publicity all over this

Pushing him to the edge is the point you clown. Hopefully when we prove to him that we are opposed to the rebrand in our thousands then he might get the message. If we piss him off in the process then all the better if it forces him to sell up or change. The fact we are demonstrating as one is the key for me.

Ask Tan. The demonstration and publicity is going to piss him off regardless of how angry or peaceful the demonstration is. The next move is up to him.

True! But with serious risk of backfire if not kept clean, which place a lot of responsibility on the organizers. Clean protest and try reaching dialog is the only way :ayatollah:

In total agreement. I can't understand what people want. Doing very little for nearly two years as got nowhere. Now all supporters groups are joined together people are still not happy. I hope it stays peaceful as that would undermine everything but something has to be done. Don't necessarily think a March is the best way but it's a start and im glad there is to be something planned inside the ground where it will definitely get the exposure.. tan will probably stay away now just to wind everyone up

And if we follow the logic of not showing weakness and save face, if it is up to him. What do you think he will do, if you where to have a guess?

Good point to be fair.

Although i do still think a Tan Out march instead of an pro-blue march would be FAR more effective.

Just my opinion. :ayatollah:

The thing is. If it where a tan out march there wouldn't be many protesters would it? Which again only build Tans argument of only being a few.

organise one then..................i see a clear difference betwwen people who just want to return to blue and are prepared to tolerate tan.............and those that want him out no matter what..............if the tan out fans had any confidence they had numbers, they wouldnt be hijacking blue marches..would they?

A Tan out march wont have any numbers. Few hundred at most. Thats why a pro blue march will get thousands on board

Think the idea is good, but cardiff is also known for the many unemployed alcoholic idiot fans, that mostly
Want chanting mr Tan is a wanker etc.
They will probebly destroy the whole arrangement, and it could backfire through the press. Hope not.

Talked today to my friends in Wales about this arrangement.
They will not be there, together with the chanting lunatics as they said.

If the march just fires up the mob before the match, the players will be suffering through chanting, booing in matchtime.
