Very good with ball at his feet, quick and skillful, seems to lack a end product according to Tim Vickery (south american football expert for sky) depending on price could be a good deal

Does he have 'Baby Jeff' on the back of his shirt like he does on fifa?.

I remember looking into him in the summer when he was linked to us .
His record seems to show he struggled in Spain for a few teams after he made his step up from South America . Once he went back to South America he did well again . Pundits seem undecided on him . 2 goals in 52 games in Spain .

Id say our budget is £15m as per usual with a bit more stuffed away for Jan.

The extra sky money this year will be put toward the expansion I guess, if it goes ahead.

I don't see where we need that many players so a big budget probably isn't needed this summer. A back up striker, a back up right back and a winger to rotate. All depends on what manager comes in, if any, as he may want some of his own players.

Could be a gem if he can adapt to the physical nature of the game in this part if the world.

I would have liked him here as we're struggled in that part of the pitch. i would have thought you had a lot of good options in that area already and if that is your budget the money is better spent elsewhere.

Yep there is. Not a la Bodde but certainly an issue with his ankle. He has brittle bones and the tendon isn't knitting to it.

Very surprised if he is back with any sort of regularity by the end of the season. But should be fit to go next season. Thats what ive heard anyway.

When CCFC were after him he had played 4, scored 5 and had 2 assists. Now after a further 20 games he has scored an extra goal and has 3 more assists. The initial stats made him look excellent, but now with 6 goals and 5 assists from 24 coupled with him struggling when he was in Spain, then I think your welcome to him.

The reason we never signed him was because his agent asked for more money (wages) for Montero, and a higher agent fee for himself. He also has image rights. It's far from a straight forward deal to sign him.
