This poll is about as factually correct as Tan, zero.

The debt figure will change every month.

He can also say "its only £80m" and leave out payments due, but not due yet. You could still owe another £30m on the transfers you have already bought (which is likely considering most clubs amortise transfers).

In which case your debt stands at £110m in reality, plus whatever Tan has to cover monthly.

Nobody knows of tan has to cover things. It depends how things are and were paid.

You wont make a profit though, thats for absolutely sure. Update or not, i can categorically assure you of that.

Minimum of £61 million in Sky TV money should make a huge dent in the debt!

So who pays the £40m (generously low) a year wages and £40m transfer fees then? Thats without touching operating costs and costs bared from last year.

Just balancing up your one sided posts, as you've only mentioned money going out and avoided the huge amount of money coming in!

 i think everyone is fully aware of the money coming in. It isnt huge though, you have spent it already and more - so how can it make a dent it the debt. That means it rises not falls.

totally argee roathy and the jack trolls on here are forgetting our incomes which will be huge this season hospitality is 100% the clubs this season and with it being sold out or nearly sold out this season will give us great revenues ,increased sponsorship etc and the large tv money we might have spent over 80 million out but our income will be more than that also with no creditors to pay we are in great shape compared to last season

Turnover will not be £100m, it will be more like £80m.

As for transfers, its well documented. Its between £40m and £50m, im trying to give you best case scenarios. Just like £40m wages, its probably more like £50m.

You will make a £20m loss this year minimum. Just depends how tan wants to write it or when he wants to take the hit, this year or next.

£63m for TV money.
£8m sponsorship
£8m season tickets
£2m merchandise and hospitality

Ive been generous once again - that makes £80m. Again its probably slightly less.

Overthemoon wrote:You're supposedly the financial whizz kid, so answer the question!

Im amazed I have to answer it to be honest :D

The TV money is already paid, prize money hasn't been paid yet. But guaranteed income for bottom side is £61m (I believe). Its 750k or £1m per place higher.

So if income this year is £62-£65m (realistically) and other income is £15m ish then that makes an income of £80m.

If you spend £40m on transfers, £40m on wages (its surely more), £5m on operating fees, £6m of transfers owed from last year.... That makes an outgoing of £90m ish - again it is probably more like £100m.

Thats a defect of £20m. Tan can write it as he likes in a way, depending on when he wants to pay things. But the business actions from this year will see a deficit of at least £20m - whether he will decide to bare it this year or next remains to be seen.
