Well that is bollocks it is nowhere near a record low We had less than 1,000 season ticket holders in some years in the 80's

I've heard that they're at a record high.

But I think it was more about the cost than the sales. :ayatollah:

I think 14k will be good for next season, with a walk up we should see championship gates hit at least 18k per game :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

There's probably a record number of old stalwart fans not renewing but no doubt they'll be replaced by new fans. We are only fans after all. We are all disposable now. Until the club digs itself into unrecoverable debt and then we'll be called upon to support our club... and we all will because we are fools!

I think we will get about 15,000 season ticket holders including premier seats for next season which isn't great compared to supposedly 22,000 this year but is still high when viewed against recent history.

That's a drop of about 30% and if it's anywhere near right it will be interesting to see what they do. They would surely have to consider a price reduction to try and fill the extra 5,500 seats they are building.

They can't drop them too much, or it will be cheaper to buy individual tickets, rather than a ST!

With such a big hike, it's not surprising that tickets are struggling. How many were on the original price freeze? I've got 10k in my mind for some reason?

I think it was about 14k for the price freeze. I think they got to have a plan B if we go down, I can't see people wanting to fork out that price for tickets in the championship. Common sense would to perhaps even lower them from this season and have the stadium full, surely that would be a better option than have empty seats. You'd think they'd want to fill the new stand up not price people out of it.

I've worked it out and my season ticket comes out at £35 per game next year. It makes me think, wtf are individual ticket prices going to be if its 35 quid a game on a season ticket?!?!.

Been documented that there are 12k fans on price freeze.

I haven't renewed. I think general sale is on April 1st. By then we'll pretty much know for definite what league we'll be in which will drastically affect sales. I can't see many people forking out so much for Championship football, especially with what's gone on off the field

The true fans renew whether we go down or not. I will laugh my head off if we stay up and the people who did not renew have lost their seat :laughing6: At the end of the day a ST is still cheaper than paying game by game in the championship anyway.
