Looks good but isn't it part of the loan deal that Zaha got to start if fit ?

You'd play Cowie and Ekriem after Saturday? They got smashed, you think they'll do a job against the Spurs midfield do you? Mutch, Medel (both look to be back) and Bellamy must start for sure.

I'd go for the same back four with Medel, Mutch, Zaha and Noone with Bellamy playing just behind Campbell.

Cowie & Ekriem??
Are you serious??

Agree, can't see Medal being fit but I hope he is. Think Mutch may have a good chance of making it as he was close to being fit on Saturday.
I think Bellamy will be in just behind Campbell.

Re: Team Vs Tottenham

We need to try and steal a point .
Our defence needs sureing up , 5 at the back with cala playing the forward sweeper role .we need to stop them playing through the middle .
Whittingham in the hole in between the midfield and defence as the playmaker to start the counter attacks . If medel is fit I would play him there but otherwise whitts is by far the best person to play that role . Especially after seeing cowie and eikram last week .

Back to counter-attcking football. Try & keep it tight with the ambition of keeping a clean-sheet. Noone I play behind Campbell, out-of-position but i'm asking Noone to run into the flanks and use his pace & if doesn't work bring on Dælli.

Cala plays Left Back because I reckon he could do it & solves a big problem.

Welcome back industrious/counter-attacking Cardiff City

Agree with starting 11 but swop the positions of Bellamy and Daehli. Daehli should be playing in the 'hole'!!

Re: Team Vs Tottenham

Tue Feb 25, 2014 1:17 pm

It's a bit too much to ask Dæhli at 18 to lead a relegation battle in arguably the most important position (number 10) in modern football. So I think Ole is right to use him sparingly. Same could be said of John but seeing as all of our other full backs are shite we have little choice.

I think Ole will go

Marshall
McNaughton Caulker Cala John
Mutch Medel(or Eikrem if Medel is out)
Noone Bellamy Zaha
Jones

Personally I think the front five should be

Medel (Cowie if Medel is still out) Eikrem
Noone Mutch Bellamy
Campbell

But I doubt we will see that.

Anybody that suggests cowie in starting squad needs fkin shooting. The guy is shit, offers fuk all. Thought whitts was low on confidence but cowie is always like it.

Roll on Mutch back, one of our best players with noone by far and we miss him

Agreed! Why is everyone picking John? He was shocking against the Jacks and is simply not good enough for the Prem. If Cala can play left back stick him in there FFS.
