Can somebody answer this?

Thu Feb 20, 2014 10:05 pm

What is the relevance to our 6 fingered friends down West singing Hymns And Arias??
They haven't always sung that?????????

Another Swansea thread.

Think we need a sub forum.

A jack fan wrote it, that gay bloke with the guitar.
He used to like rugby though.

Dont you guys sing "three little birds" because Bob Marley once did a gig in Cardiff?

No we don't sing that. I think the song is cursed. We always concede when it's been sung!

Well you havent sang anything for ages let be fair. :laughing6:

You did sing it though :D

We are singing Welsh national songs and our adopted anthem. You don't have to join in if you don't like it :D

Maybe you should qualify for Europe and sing some songs.... However both seem highly unlikely on recent showings.

The atmosphere there is absolutely dreadful. They sing hymns and arias now and again but their atmosphere is worse than ours. Shocking for a European game versus a team like Napoli.

Trolling?

You think its likely you are going to get into Europe then? You will probably have to win 12 out of 12 then, and that still probably wont get you in. Good luck with that

You had praise from Barry after one game? Congratulations. Our atmosphere has been praised by pundits but the rest of us find it shit. Just like yours.

It was not at all. If its a fact how can it be trolling. I was being perfectly sensible.

Your fan base has been awfully quiet of late and even said on here by your own fans. You are second bottom and out of all the cups.

To be having a go at us for singing a song loud and proud with major welsh and Swansea connections in Europe when your fan base is quiet and club have no chance of getting anywhere near Europe is just ridiculous.

It reminds me of a 15 stone woman reading a celeb magazine and pointing at J-lo and saying "she looks fat".

So, Why do they ding it?? They only been singing it since they berm in the premier league??? New breed of plastic glory hunters!!!

We have had praise from all corners sonny, anyone watching the game without a hearing impediment should also be able to vouch for that

FoxSports described the liberty as "the cauldron of noise" :D

Your atmosphere was praised in the first few games of the prem - same as us. Ever since it has been ridiculously awful. Fact.

I haven't heard anything said about your atmosphere. But if you think it's good you are deluded. No argument about ours at the moment but from what I have hear off the tv, yours is just as bad. You just have the odd 5 minutes of Hymns and Arias and We hate Cardiff.

Like I said, the remark was intended for a bite. Otherwise you wouldn't have said it as it was irrelevant as any Cardiff fan knows we won't be plying our trade in Europe anytime soon. Still, you pointed it out. Hmmm.

That's nice about a 15 stone woman.
You haven't been at our stadium this year, so you can't really comment. The atmosphere hasn't been the best, but we are a club being run by an egotistical, power mad owner. Even I feel down going to games this season when I should be enjoying the moment. I'm sure you felt the same when you were being run by an Australian businessman. Was the atmosphere positive? I can guarantee it wasn't.

I couldnt give a monkeys chuff what you have or havent heard. You must watched 90 mins of electric atmosphere and described it as "awful" so i dont give much credence to your hearing sean

Re: Can somebody answer this?

Atmosphere was excellent at the Liberty tonight. I'd expect that to be the case though. There have been times this season where the atmosphere at the Liberty has been woeful too.

Exactly the same at Cardiff & probably every other premiership club too.

Was rather shocked to hear them singing Hey Jude though....

yep and ive already told you that you are talking rubbish. My point was clear - you are nowhere near Europe and as a fanbase are by many of your own admittance - are quiet as mice. So to have a go at us about singing our anthem loud and proud on the European stage is the embodiment of irony.

If it gets a bit its because its true. If thats trolling then you have a weird grasp on the word.

what a ridiculous thing to say. I havent been to an Oasis concert this year but i know they are good because I listen to them. Your atmosphere has been dire almost every time I watch you guys and thats pretty much every week.

You can guarantee nothing then. When we were owned by Petty the atmosphere was incessant noise. I havent heard a wall of noise continuously for 90mins each match like the Petty era.

We did something about it you see, where as you guys seem to sit back and wallow in self pitty.

And again before you call me a troll - its true.

In all fairness I only watched the second half so no idea if it was 'electric' there during the first half. I doubt it,But the second half was not great. Be honest. Watching your other games I remember commenting on how bad it was. But most premiership teams are the same. Valencia was one of the worst I have ever heard.

I'd also agree with this. There have been many games where the Liberty atmosphere has been dreadful this season too.

To base the Swansea fans on this atmosphere is like basing Cardiff fans on the Man City atmosphere.

I enjoy the fact they sing patriotic Welsh songs then the liberty is empty when they are actually given a welsh game.

I will post a link to the first half of Swansea v Cardiff to watch online if you wish.

Then we can watch it simulataniously and you tell me if you only hear the drum :laughing6:
