The Jacks are NOT whiter than white

Interesting before and during the sacking of Malky, the comments came long and hard from the media, pundits & fans (including our own) how unprofessional & shabbily our club, owner (and board) treated Malky.

But now the truth is started to emerge about LAUDRUP.....NOT owned by a meglomaniac foreigner, they are a "family club", WHITER THAN WHITE....sacking their Mr Nice Guy manager and everybody's friend by Email straight and after a hand shake from the Chairman (who is Welsh and not some foreign nutter)....et tu Brute!

Good point Craig, at least Malky knew that Tan wanted him out. It seems Laudrup is still in shock he was fired and is nowhere near closure on the matter. Malky is doing the media circuit & completely over what happened.

Its nothing new! Why do you think managers go so quikly? If you believe laudrup spew dictates what players managers sign ect, If cost more than 1p to expensive! Everything about their club is cheap! Again a master stroke from Huw which seems to have put us back around the top half and look like the side we were before Laudrup again. Perfect chairmanship.

As for spending, he spends what the club can affort. This year that was nearly £25m including £13m on a striker, so hardly "cheap"

It's Swansea's business and, as such, of little real interest to me. However, one comment from Laudrup did make me stop and think:

Seems that the whole epsiode was indeed a little underhand and (looking from the outside) that Laudrup paid the final price for not allowing himself to be dictated to on his backroom staff; one of whom was the guy who then took his job!

I would trust Huw Jenkins judgement over Michael Laudrups any day of the week. If Huw says the backroom staff are not right and need to be changed then thats good enough for me and probably every other fan.

What Laudrup was doing wasnt working and Huw identified that. He is the custodian of the club and seemed to give Laudrup the chance to rectify it - he refused and as a result the problem was going to remain and got sacked as a result.

It seems he was right once again, Garry Monk has been a revelation. The change in performance has been staggering and so nice to see us back to how we were before the laudrup/tutulmu combo.

Well I doubt that would be the thinking if it was someone else in our position.

I was calling for for our wingers to play wide all along, and got slated on here for saying (you know more than laudrup etc etc) and that is exactly what Monk has instilled back in. No longer are we congested in the center of the pitch trying to break down a side, we are being pro active and attacking the teams on the flanks while pressuring the ball rather than standing off. The exact philosophy of Swansea prior to Laudrup.

I have no doubt about our survival in this league.

Absolutely not.

It was Laudrups change in style which won us a major trophy, got us into Europe and a top 10 finish - clubs didnt expect us to play so narrow. He also helped to bring some wuality players in such as Michu.

However Laudrups reign was becoming toxic to the club and he acted appropriately.

Apparently the majority of board members wanted laudrup out and huw was favouring him to stay , but that's the good thing about Swansea , one man does not run the club

plain to see.laudrup wasnt interested .sucking the life out of the team.last season they were narrow but had a better tempo and urgency.this season they became like him,lathargic.bit more width now but the tempo has increased.m.l was going at the seasons end anyway.h.j just gave him a bit of a holiday .too much at stake to sleepwalk to relegation.the distinterest after winning the cup last year was tolerated cos they were safe.not the case this season

We brought him in and he changed the style of play. It wasn't to my taste, however it shocked the league who expected us to play the same way. It won us a major trophy, qualified for Europe and finiahed 9th - he also brought in some class players.

His agent then become a problem and his methods had began to be worked out by the opposition. He seemed stubborn to change things - so huw took action.

Not sure whats so difficult to understand.
