CARDIFF CITY ARE JUST ONE WIN FROM SURVIVAL

Sat Feb 15, 2014 7:44 pm

If Cardiff City match Fulham, West Brom and Sunderland's results in eleven of the remaining twelve games between now and the end of the season and win just one more game than them then we will stay up, it is that tight, it is that simple.

Just one win more than those three achieve, that's all it takes.

When you say it like that it doesn't sound too bad.

That is how close it is.

I don't know the reason why but at times this season our support has been phenomenal, at home and away. There have been times of celebration that I have not witnessed before, the Man City win at home was something I am not sure if there has ever been a better atmosphere at home, the moment Mutch scored a last minute screamer at Craven Cottage will live long in the memory too.

We need our supporters to believe, we need to show the players that we have belief. The squad we got today is the squad we have for 1,080 minutes of Premier League football. Whatever you think they are capable of, whatever you think they should be doing, for every mistimed pass, for every goal we concede, for every tackle they make, they are our players, they are representing Cardiff City FC.

These players should have our unequivocal support and backing for every minute of the 12 games.

There needs to be a concerted effort by everyone for the sake of our Premier League status to get behind the boys and give it everything you got to support them, all is not lost but there is everything to play for.

We can pull off a great escape, no need to give up now, now is the time to be strong, now is the time our support is needed.

Just one more win than Fulham, West Brom and Sunderland.

Believe :ayatollah:

carl there is so much to play for its not only those teams that need to be worried, at the moment any dip in form from up to 10th place will drop team in relegation trouble very quikly. :P

Absolutely Allan but I feel maybe we have to simplify our plight and target to give people belief as so many are thinks we are doomed already, if we manage what I have written then we are safe, anything above it and any other team that comes into play will be an added bonus.

I am going to believe and mathematically it cannot be achieved.

Just 14 goals scored in the 24 games that didn't include Man city would suggest you are right.

Good on you Carlos, for being so positive

But Carlos, One win, yes, but then I honestly believe,we need 5 wins at least to stay up.

5 wins Annis, yes it would guarantee survival

But if Fulham, West Brom and Sunderland only win one each and we win two and match their other results then we stay up :ayatollah:

I think we would have to beat all three of those teams when we play them to have a chance. Don't see it though as we concede easily and struggle to score.

Steve, I believe the same as you, we need to beat all them and Hull City and Palace, unless we beat Liverpool,Everton,Spurs,Chelsea etc

we are the worst team in the Premier League unfortunately. We will finish bottom, quite a bit adrift of even 19th place. Fulham, Sunderland, Palace, West Brom, Norwich, Hull, Stoke all have better strikers than us and that will be crucial. We messed up with Cornelius and had a chance to replace with a bit of quality but got kenwynne jones! We're doomed.

Fans can be as positive as they want, the fact is we aren't good enough. We have some very good players, the likes of daehli are as good a prospect as I've ever seen at Cardiff, but we are not a team,

To provide the perspective of the bigger picture.

You feel free to include them in your thinking if it makes you feel better.

Or to suit your agenda more like.

You can't paint a picture of our goal scoring & leave out certain games we've scored several goals in.

Nope we is fucked.

A total shambles of a f**k up but what's new. The bed wetters are flaying they're little arms about, see Mike's board, but you Carl have lost the plot.

For the sake of Cardiff City give it up mate, you're a decent chap but everything you put here is copied to the lefties and used against us. Take a step back, think and then bung up some shite. It will be copied to the bed wetters board within seconds.

Life is what you make it and I would wager that a lot of these people are not terribly successful if they have the same attitude in their personal lives. Cant has a master and his name is try! Even impossible reads I'm- possible if you look at it hard enough. :ayatollah:

The reality is we're going to have to improve a lot to average at least point a game from now on, something we have failed to do so far. Of course it's possible but the way we're playing i would'nt bank on it. Truth is we're an awful side who other teams will target as must win games against. Unless there's a change in attitude & we fight for the whole 90 mins i can't see us staying up.
