This is football. No manager will ever get every signing correct, never have, never will.
But on top of this .... Why did the business agree to the fee and wages if it couldn't afford it ? That's not good business if that's the case.
Now further point, you buy race horses .... Will each one you buy win the Derby ? Nope for all the breeding in the world one or two end up as dog meat.
You set your losses against your gains and agree in the middle --- so set out the revenue gained against the player loss. What's the figure ???? Mountains being made out of mole hills especially against a very good man who eventually got you to the Premiership ! How much revenue did that bring then ?
Finally just a thought, how many Danes tuned in when they thought he would play ? Quite a few thousand I bet !

Applying your mindset to business confirms Tan is correct re Mackays ability to manage at Premier league level.
The players that he bought Inc A C. We're not good enough to keep us up. So on top of some £20 million transfer waste it has or probably will cost us a £60 million 2nd Premier season.
So I couldn't agree with you more.be lucky fat Sam hasn't done the same.

Not if he had started the collection, raised its marketable profile , got it in the highest de canters around the world and bought one bad bottle in a fine collection. I would say he made a mistake but look at his over all performance and see the full worth of the collection against the loss of the bottle of cats piss he bought.
What I wouldn't have done is sack him and bring in a Spanish waiter who's never collected vintage wines to replace him either however what a nice bloke he is.

35 players bought...........and only two certain to start our next league game...is not 1 bad bottle though is it.
our football was anything but vintage under Malky, and as for our nice spanish waiter, jury is out.
hope with all my heart West Ham appoint Malky next year..............

Now your changing the wine rack...... 35 players weren't bought for the premiership, no - promotion from the championship, did you get promoted ?
Result well done Malky !!!
What he spent in reality to compete in the premiership was peanuts to ensure you stayed there. Ok the Dane flopped, shit happens this is football.
Your heart will be broken and it won't be by west ham or Malky Mackay that's for sure !!!
Go dragons !!
