Swansea City boss Garry Monk accuses Kim Bo-Kyung of punching Wayne Routledge in South Wales derby.

After Craig Bellamy accepted a three game ban for an elbow on Jonathan de Guzman in last Saturday's derby, Swans boss Garry Monk has now accused fellow Cardiff City star Kim Bo-Kyung of punching and butting Wayne Routledge.

Swansea City head coach Garry Monk has lashed out at Cardiff City counterpart Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for claiming his player got Craig Bellamy banned, blasting: 'Look after your own players before criticising mine'.

Swans chief Monk, speaking after his side's 1-1 draw with Stoke, was responding as Solskjaer bemoaned the ban received by Bellamy for clashing with Jonathan de Guzman in Saturday's South Wales derby.

The incident was not spotted in the 3-0 Swans rout, but an FA panel handed out the suspension despite Solskjaer claiming Dutchman de Guzman had overreacted.

Bluebirds boss Solskjaer had also cited an off-the-ball kick from Angel Rangel on Wilfried Zaha as the derby fall-out continued.

But Monk hit back after asked his comments on Bellamy's three-game suspension, claiming Cardiff midfielder Kim Bo-Kyung was lucky to get away with an attack on Wayne Routledge.

Monk fumed: “I saw Ole answering a question saying my man Jon de Guzman made a meal of it.

“When you receive an elbow in the back of the head and go down normally, I don’t see how that’s an over-reaction.

“I would have more concerns about the 35 minute when they had a corner and one of my players, Wayne Routledge, gets headbutted and punched in the face by Kim.

“If anything I would be more concerned about something like that than saying one of my players is play-acting.

“If you look at Wayne, he is headbutted and punched and he stays on his feet. He doesn’t make a meal of it.

“I think Ole needs to look at his own players before he starts looking at mine.”

Kim is Ole's wife, this happened in the bar afterwards. She also punched Dyer, monk didn't mention that because he would have had to concede Dyer was going through her purse.
