Got to say, what a game he had today, the passes he made were class, try to command the field (didn't seem like anyone listend) but I thought he had a hell of a game!

Not a great start for Mats but yet again he's only 18.

Thought Berget would have got a chance but maybe not?

KTC played class as well, whole back four were great and overall happy with that result! villa are a good team on the road so I thought we played well, roll on the cup run!

He made a few solid tackles as well. A very astute player it seems and he'll only get better as time goes on. Its possibly an option to play him alongside Medel and Mutch in CAM just behind Campbell in the future maybe in a 4-4-1-1. Ole has used that formation in the past.

I think Daehli will be better in a number 10 role like Bellamy has played the last games.

KTC had a good game? I thought he was our worst player! Despite being a donkey, I thought Jones was a nuisance for villa up top.

Couldn't see how declan did any better? Pretty much sure if KTC didn't tackle Gaby when he was about to shot then it would have been game over, thought he played class but football is all about opinions which I why I love it!

Eikrem is a good player and sprayed some good passes around and did nothing wrong, but he is too similar to Medel for me as he is more of a defensive holding midfielder. After Mutch went off they started to boss the midfield and we didn't have the same drive going forward. Moves the ball quickly and generally forwards but not sure he is a replacement for Mutch.

i thought eikram did very well to me though hes just a more skillfull version of whittingham not much difference

You must be watching something else because apart from one lobbed pass he did nothing.

When he came on instead of Mutch we went completely flat.

The reasons we drew for me:

Kenwyne Jones
Mutch injured
Noone didn't touch the ball in the second half

I think he played well - came right into the game and didn't start off slow, made some great passes and drew some fouls. I think he'll grow a bit more forward when he's a bit more blended in with the rest of the team - but that takes time. Looking forward to hopefully seeing him get more time in the FA Cup.

Eikrem was okay - he made KTC look 'shit' as some people have said on this thread due to the ammount of hospital passes he gave him!

But I wont dwell on that - its somthing he has to work on and did make a couple of decent passes and tackles during the game.

Turner looked like he had a slight injury near the end of the match - just think he didn't want to risk sending Berget out and then watch Turner go down for good.

When he came on we lost our momentum. A few continuity passes sideways, a few hospital and over hit passes, two won tackles.

I know a lot on here would rather Fred west than Whitts, but you are going to have to show me what he did last night that excited you so much.

I reckon a fit Don Cowie is better in that position....
