Send zaha packing

Awful player

Awareness is awful how we haven't conceded cos of him is beyond me

Tries to much and loses possession especially in our half it's madness all because he don't look up when he's running

Waste of 1.5m without his wages f**k me no wonder he can't get near united team not even bottom half premier league standard

Re: Send zaha packing

Tue Feb 11, 2014 9:06 pm

Seems ole has agreed

Calm down ffs. Hes had about 90 mins in his prem career.

He has been good compared to Kenwyne jones tonight.

Lol both awful mate

Second half performance was shocking

We were very lucky to escape with a point

Marshall and turner were outstanding fair play to turner got single out a but after Swansea game but absolutely immense tonight, showing glimpses of why he was rated worth millions after end of last season and how he kept Suarez quiet in the cup final

Awareness is nothing to do with match fitness lol a basic understanding of football would help both you and zaha out here

Tw good passes don't make up for consistent losing the ball and running like a headless chicken into 3 opposing players when there's an easy pass available which wouldn't cost is possession or a breakaway by the other team, forgivable sometimes in opponents half but unforgivable in your own half he did it numerous times tonight in our half of the field it's like tying a nous around your own neck on a slippery bridge

He's young yes and maybe not match for but match fitness has nothing to do with football intelligence

Re: Send zaha packing

He's only played 3 games for us!

Well he set the goal up last week, And nearly today but the keeper made a good save, So i don't think his awareness is awful maybe his decision making is off sometimes, Because we know he can pick a key pass out if he wants as he's already proved.

Match fitness has nothing to do with football intelligence

Can anyone read on this thread for fucks sake

And it's not a 1 match opinion either he was woeful last well at fault for at least 1 Swansea goal

The only thing he got going is he's young and that will probably come with age but ole seriously needs to get a few defensive basics into his head

1) don't try and take players on in your own half
2) head up when running more often would help
3) easy pass give and go far more effective than running into 3 players losing the ball and gifting the opponent a breakaway opportunity
4) never pass in your own box just smash the fuckin ball away

 nice negative post there. Did you forget that he set up Bellamy for the equaliser against Norwich? Or did you conveniently forget that point in your post? You've clearly focused on 2 games where he was doubled up on, hindering him from making an impact. What is he supposed to do if he was no support?

Numerous times today he was isolated out wide with no support, so the only option was to run it. He's a young lad, he's still learning. Ole even said that the other day. I really don't know what expectations we're wanting from a raw talent like Zaha, he's not the finished article.

Well if he's not ready for it then u have to question why pay £1.5m plus his wages to bring him in?

Why would I mention 1 pass? Who gives a f**k if he passes the ball well once

He's only been isolated when he runs as far as he can with his head down hen realises he's hit a brick wall and lost the ball

He has a lot to learn and basics like not trying to dribble past 3 players in yor own half is taught to 5 year olds

I give up. You're being unrealistic of him. Hence why he's been loaned out from his parent club to gain experience. He's not the finished article yet.

Talk of over reaction. We knew that we were loaning a raw product. If he was more mature he would be a starter for Man U. He got Palace promoted by his flair. Not match fit. For God's sake give the boy a chance.

Fair to say he was indifferent tonight, would have liked to see him take Bacuna on the outside a few times and be a bit more decisive, but hang on he hasn't managed more than about an hour yet for us, give the guy a break!

I've never said he's the finished article but basic footballing knowledge would help here

Watch the 60 minutes ish he played back and then re read my original post
How we didn't concede from a few of his seriously bad mistakes I'll never know better team and we'd have been punished a few times
