Carroll tried to and got a three match ban for his trouble. That should safely see you mockneys back in the Championship where you belong!

He did feck all, Cheato tw@t was grabbing him round the neck and climbing all over him, all Carrroll did was spin around and catch his pony tail ???

How you can back a prick like him is beyond me, but typical of dull jack double standards.

Still on the plus side, you have done us a favour as a West Ham without Carroll for three games will pick up less points ....

I think we can win, if an experience Manager can't keep them up and sort out the split in the dressing room, how is the fifth choice reserve centre half supposed to do it it ???

He will come in with big ideas and in three days will try and change things, I think the players will be confused over what Laudrup wants them to do and what Monk wants they to change, fingers crossed it leads to a couple of mistakes for us to capitalise on :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ole:

I do get the impression from the Jacks that if they are up for it then they will turn us over.

They are saying with Laudrup there was no fight in them but under Monk they will be a different team. I just find this more hopeful thinking than anything. If I was in their shoes I would be praying this is the miracle that was needed. I would not be feeling confident at all even though on paper they are more established and are suppose to have the better quality players. Those facts only come into play when they are managed properly and that is where all their risks lie.

I have never said that Flores did nothing wrong. But with the typical myopic Cardiff outlook, no-one on here appears prepared to condemn Carroll, despite him being sent off and losing two appeals. Do you honestly think that Carroll would not have been sent off for what he did? The reaction is irrelevant.

So despite Howard Webb seeing it as a sending off offence, an FA panel agreeing that he was right and an independent panel agreeing that both the FA panel and Howard Webb were right, you are still of the opinion that all three are wrong! Explanation please.

Re: History to be made tomorrow ?

I think Carol definitely had a part in his sending off.

However, at most a yellow but Chico turned it a red.

Earlier this season, Wayne Rooney was running at our players and gobbling off like a mad man
But nothing given.
A Cardiff player reacting like Chico, May have changed this?

Chico could play for any team and I would still think he is a c**t.

I saw our Jordan Mutch get touched and go down in box -if he hadn't then tried to cheat
By sticking his leg out, we may have had a pen.

Is that myopic enough fella?

So what is your interpretation of yellow based on? Violent conduct is red. Referee, FA panel, independent panel agree it was violent conduct.
Do you also think Mutch is a c**t, then, or is it different for Cardiff players?

Irrespective of whether it was a sending off or not. Chico's reaction was pathetic. Shame's the game we all love. Mutch went down easily in front of us at palace (nothing like this - he was barged and should have stood up) and I ripped into him shouting at him to get up. Fortunately it doesn't happen often with our lot.

Jack or no jack, that reaction from Chico was probably the most disgraceful play acting I've ever seen from a centre half.

Bad enough when a player goes down easily trying to get a penalty, but something else when it's an attempt to get an opponent sent off.

Do you agree ?

So are you now trying to say that there are different levels of cheating? Surely cheating is cheating wherever it happens and whatever the result? Cheating is an endemic part of modern day football whether you like it or not. In this money-fuelled environment you are naive in the extreme if you don't think that cheating occurs in EVERY match by EVERY team, whether it's blatant (as was Chico's) or whether it's defenders wrestling in the box with forwards. I would agree that utopia would be for all cheating to be dealt with, but I'm realistic enough to know it is not going to happen.

Re: History to be made tomorrow ?

Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:29 am

It was a red card because the incident wasn't part of the initial tackle. If Carrol had caught Chico will his arm in the initial tackle he would have got a yellow card for a flailing arm. Once a tackle was over Carrol spun around with his arm and caught Chico it turns into violent conduct and a red card.

How Chico acted after was disgraceful and should also be a 3 games ban in my eyes but until the powers to be bring out a law to punish play acting like that we will continue to see it.

I can't disagree with that. Cheating, in all it's forms, needs to be stamped out, whether it be play acting, diving, time wasting, wrestling etc etc. but cheating needs to be dealt with as a whole, not just certain elements.

Yes of course there are different levels of cheating.

Do you think bringing a playuer down when he's in on goal is on a level with rolling around like you've been smashed with a baseball bat when you've just had your bun touched ?

Bollox.

If you read my posts, I have not defended Chico in any of them. But you're talking crap. Cheating is cheating. The point of it that someone is trying to gain an advantage through unfair means. Therefore, how can there be different levels? You're either cheating or you're not! You seem to conveniently forget that a Carroll lashed out in the first place. That's what he was sent off for, or do you honestly believe that a World Cup final referee, an FA panel and an independent panel actually thought Chico was injured. The red card was as a result of Carroll's actions, not Chico's, and if you believe anything different then you're either very naive or very stupid

It's really simple.

Of course there are different levels of cheating. That's why you have free kicks, then bookings for more serious stuff, then you have sendings off for worse.

Far worse than any of these is play acting in an attempt to get a player sent off.

Just like Chico.

I don't care about Carrolls sending off, it's good news for us. However I think players who feign injury in order to try to fascilitate players getting sent off ruin football.

He doesn't play for us which is just as well and if you are happy with him then that's your problem. You still haven't condemned him or what he did, or when he's done it before.
