All Premiership teams had until February 4th to register their new 25 man squads for this season following the closure of the January transfer window. Each squad is limited to a maximum of 17 players who do not qualify under the homegrown rules, and players under the age of 21 (even if their 22nd birthday occurs during the season) do not need to be registered and remain in contention should their respective manager choose.
Any player over the age of 21 and not listed in the 25 man squad cannot play a single minute of league action for the remainder of the season.
Cardiff have submitted the following list according to the PremierLeague.com website.

Home-grown players DO NOT have to be English. Home-grown players are defined as those “irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday.
And was on contract for United from 2006-2011
