I agree swansea a defence allways struggle against big guys , look at yesterday with Carroll

from one Thomas to another Thomas I agree the the psycology aspect of the 'wounded animal' theory, but the flip-side could be that his confidence is shot either-way, OGS must pick the most taleted player to get a result....I would be suprised to see Whitts in the starting line-up simply because Zaha looks ready to play 90mins, and gives the team an 'out-ball' defence to attack transition.

We've not had a penalty yet and they look increasingly dodgy on corners.
But they have some very decent attacking options. Could be a classic.

1andy carroll was totaly unplayable yeasterday and when he is up for a game then any defence will struggle.
2 kj is no were near the player carroll is and never has been.
3 I will admit its annoying seeing chico do these things, however he is a very good defender who plays out of defence.
4 do any of u realy think carroll didnt deserve a red card? U could clearly see the anger and intent on his face and clearly caught chico.
If that had caught him clean on the cheek or flat in his face he would have been hurt to merit the rolling around.

Yes, I don't think he deserved a red card, nor does anyone I've spoken to or any one single pundit at all. That includes several Swansea fans that I know, who are all fed up of his play acting.

You slagged Jones off last week, yet he scored the winner on his debut and played extremely well. I haven't seen anyone attempt to compare Jones to Carroll.

Even if he caught him flush in the face there wasn't enough strength in it to warrant any rolling around ffs.
And even if he was hurt, why roll around? Im sure lots of us on here have been hurt playing football / rugby but I've never seen anyone roll around like they are being electrocuted.

So because he COULD have been hurt he deserves a red card ?
If anything Chico was to blame for going over the top in the first place with his arm round Carroll's throat . Chico went over the top fell to the floor then got up and turned to the left as Carroll turned to the right and they collided . Not a red card just a coming together . Never a sending off and Chico should be banned for play acting , it's not the first time he's done it .

As for Carroll being unplayable , I think it was more of swansea being absolute pants and giving him an easy game .
