From Sky Sports.

Craig Bellamy was unhappy with the Cardiff crowd after helping his side come from behind to beat Norwich.

The striker scored the equalising goal in a 2-1 win, making him the first man to score for seven different Premier League clubs.

Bellamy was dismissive when asked about his personal landmark by Sky Sports News after the game, and there was a scathing assessment of the home supporters.

"I haven't heard the crowd like that," said the 34-year-old, a lifelong Cardiff fan. "That's not the club I'm from.

"I saw them turn first half, and I've not been a part of that. I've not seen them direct it at individuals, which they did.

"Maybe that's modern football, maybe I'm trying to get used to that. it's not like us."

Victory took Cardiff off the bottom of the table ahead of next week's game against Welsh rivals Swansea.

Bellamy said: "It'll be nice to get a couple of days rest and then prepare for the derby."

Disgusted. Why boo him and jeer him after that free kick? He's playing poorly because he's playing in CM when he is naturally a LW/CAM and not a defensively minded player that a CM needs to be. Put him in a more attacking role and he does well. Simple as that. Im glad Bellamy said something about it. The lack of appreciation down here from some of our fans is unreal. Without players like Hudson, Whitts and Marshall we'd never be in this league.

f**k of Bellamy. You're a plastic scouse tw*t, that first half was absolutely embarrassing, if you had any sense you'd keep your gob shut.

He's lucky Solksjaer had the sense to put Zaha on to take some of the sting out of the half because if he hadn't there would have been murder at half time.

I thought it was a bold move from Ole but most certainly the right call. Can't see Whitts starting next week after today , he has been poor all season for us IMO but no way deserved what he got from the plastics today.

Totally agree. Yes he's been poor. But did not deserve that!

Rightly so.... The most embarrassing incident I have ever witness

Red kit, wank badge, a fruit cake owner - but this was the day Cardiff City died for me !

Re: BELLAMY CRITICISES CITY FANS

I saw Bellamy putting his fingers to his lips and going "Shhsh" to both the Canton and Grandstand when he scored.

Mmm.

After the show that not only Whittingham but the rest of the team, including you Mr Bellamy, put in during the first half he surely can't expect unqualified support. It's not a one way street - supporters like to see a team competing like a Premiership side not like a hungover pub team on a Sunday morning!

And try looking in the mirror before critisizing fans and ask if that first half performance really deserved any other reaction from fans who pay a lot of money (and even more next season!) and some of whom were still sat on a bus at 4am last wednesday morning before having to be in work at 6.30.

He wasn't happy. Turned to the crowd by me at the corner by the ninian and canton after the game and put his hand behind is ear and shouted some abuse. In fairness to Bella's no one can doubt his passion and he gives it is all.

Good comments of support from Bellamy. It was definitely the right decision by Solskjær but to treat someone who has given so much to this club over the years is an absolute disgrace.

One thing I will add though is that I think Bellamy is one of the major reasons for Whitts demise. Before Bellamy was playing last season Whitts was on fire and banging in free kicks left right and centre then Bellamy started playing and started hogging most set pieces and you could see Whitts confidence instantly drain out of him.

Bellamy's a past it arsehole.

He may have scored today but I would have been much happier with Campbell in his role for the 90 rather than him.

Can't fault him. Some of the fans were a disgrace.

Although he does need to man-up and not cry to the media like that.

Completely agree . A huge chunk of our fans are a f*cking joke . Booing own players , booing when play breaks down and you need to go back to the keeper , and needless to say grown men wearing red shirts. Like he said , not the same club he used to know , and in my opinion never will be .

Regardless of who he supports Bellamy gives his all for our club on and off the field always has done always will do...he scored a very important goal for us today and was quite right to say what he did on SS about our "fans". Who gives a toss who he supports as long as he gives his all for our cause...which he does.

We were crap first half and booing was deserved .our players earn huge amounts so i think they should earn it...there is now an increase in season ticket prices yet our players believe we should adore them regardless of their pathetic performance. Cardiff city is more important than one player who suffers from little man syndrome

Re: BELLAMY CRITICISES CITY FANS

Fans expect players to put as much into the game as they've done so year in year out at huge costs, if fans have an opinion they've every right to voice it.

Booing a player off isn't always ideal but if the manager refuses to drop them when they are playing sub par in a relegation dog fight and doesn't seem to be putting every last ounce of effort in, what else are fans to do?

The spoken word / noise is all a fan has to show what they think, so you can't blame them for using that power!

And if 20,000 people all agree and are happy a player is getting subbed because they are playing woeful how are they in the wrong for expressing that?

Re: BELLAMY CRITICISES CITY FANS

Agree 100%!!! My bro said to me as everyone around us booed whitts off that it was harsh and people had short memories!!!! He has carried us and scored vital goals for years now, I agree he played rubbish but disgraceful response.
Zaha did make a massive difference when he came on mind!! On course for the 7-9 points I wanted us to get this month!!! Jack bastards up next
