Fri Jan 31, 2014 4:57 pm
Up until his off field issues , I thought he was a great player for us !
Fri Jan 31, 2014 4:58 pm
No thanks, he's like Chopra, blows hot and cold. Its a gamble, he's not even proven at this level
Fri Jan 31, 2014 4:58 pm
Got to laugh how evryone posted a new topic as soon as it was on ssn.

Scored 18 goals this season , more than Rhodes who I'm sure would go for more than 4million!
Fri Jan 31, 2014 5:12 pm
Last few seasons he has been very consistent displaying both skill and goal scoring ability, I'd welcome him back.
Fri Jan 31, 2014 5:13 pm
Him and Campbell up front would be delightful
Fri Jan 31, 2014 5:16 pm
Gutsy little player too , we are in a bit of a scrap and need players like that. !

Wouldn't pay more than £2 million for him, unproven and issues with temperament. It is a lot like when Chopra was transferred from us to Sunderland for £5 million and looked what happened, he came back to us a year later, a million pound cheaper. We should now learn our lesson form Earnie and to a lesser extent Bellars, there is no return that ends up being successful

I'd take him back any day. He was outstanding for us and will fit in perfectly to the way we played at Man U.

Earnie come back though towards end of career , Ross is in his prime now

Whilst I wouldn't mind having him back here I really think we are being screwed on the price. He is no spring chicken and we could get Solomon Kalou for cheaper than that.
Fri Jan 31, 2014 6:24 pm
Isn't he 27? Not at all old for a stiker.coming into his prime imho.
Fri Jan 31, 2014 6:29 pm
I would take him back might not be in the starting 11 but he could be a supper sub
