RIGHT. Here is the topic for RoathMagic to wank to his delight about arguing with other posters. He's a massive troll.

100% he is a man utd legend in my opinion!

He will go down in folklore for that famous goal.. I guess he would be classed a a club legend.

Re: Is Solskjaer a Man Utd legend

Yes he is. I done a stadium tour of old Trafford in 2007 and where solkskaer sat in the changing room they have retired that area because he is a legend. I did wonder at the time though why him and not all the other legends they have had.

I also went to his testimonial in 2008 and having witnessed the crowds reaction to him that day he is 100 per cent a utd legend.

He was a sub and scored a famous goal.

Hes not a legend.

Fan fave - yes, legend - no.

Please don't tell me you've made a Man Utd moniker just to say this Roathie? :laughing6:

The banner that hangs on the Stretford End and the fact that they still sing songs about Ole prove that he is a legend there.

NO! Any player who never really starts isn't ever really wanted, and he never got any 'big' goals just scored a couple against teams like Derby when they were already 6-0 up

Walter white is not me.

Im fully aware he scored an important goal, and scored many a good goal too.

However he was still just a sub.

As stated on the other thread. Any legend should be befitting of a statue if it ever arose without any opposition or any eyebrows raised.

You cannot say that about OGS. He was key in a legendary game, but he is not a legend. The "legend" word is bandied around far too often. Same with "genius".

Surely that's for the Man Utd supporters to decide?

Debate over. If Man Utd fans call him a legend, what has a Swansa fan got anything to do with it?

I saw an article about the most effective strikers in the PL.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Goals: 91, minutes played: 13926, minutes per goal: 153.0

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was only behind Henry,Van Nistelroy and Shearer among players who dont play in the PL anymore.

Scored often, was 100% loyal, never complained about playing time.

That is how you become a legend.

Incase they continue to make decent points?

Obsessive trolls should be banned. Simple as that. Giving an opinion is what these forums are for.

I can only think your Castro account was banned because of your trolling in the Zaha thread. You kept the debate going, despite saying you would stop.

Not like you, you've been pretty good on your Castro account overall.

Most def.

Re: Is Solskjaer a Man Utd legend

I'd say he was a legend. Scoring nearly 100 League goals for the club, scoring the winner at the death in the Champions League Final and being an integral part of Man Us most successful period in their history defo makes him a legend. In comparison, only one City player has scored more League goals than Solksjaer for CCFC and that was Len Davies back in the 20's. Earnie is considered a legend by City fans, even though he scored less League goals for us than Ole did for Man U. And don't get me started on Robin Friday, considered a legend by many fans, yet only played 26 League games for us. A City legend he definitely ain't!

opinions are welcome but the minority are ruining the forum, far too many new accounts pop up and talk garbage about non football related issues.

if your opinion was any good id be happy to wait 48 hours for it!!

There was no trolling in the thread from me. If so can you point out where. I gave my opinion and backed it up through a barrage of abuse. Asked for it to go back on topic and nobody would. Why is it down to me?

My castro account was banned because citygent got angry after i posted a screenshot of a post he thought he had deleted and denied saying.... He just forgot to delete anyone that quoted him.

Castro was on a 24 hour ban which elapsed. I assume his anger i didnt accept the 24 hour ban and kept posting regardless was instrumental in this further ban. Not that it makes a difference.

you really need to learn to let go and understand that people just might have a different opinion to you, especially on a rival fans message board.

lets be honest half the people are going to disagree with you and the other half will disagree with you because they know your a jack. i mean havent you got anything better to do? we honestly wouldnt miss you much if you went back to whatever you do in the day times, maybe even vist a swansea board instead...you never know...people might actually agree with you there and you wont get banned.

are you welcome here...yes
are you wanted, not at all

Legends are born by the supporters of the club he plays for, ole scored the winning goal in the last second of the biggest club competition in the world, he also won numerous games for united over the years he played there. (have a look at how many goals per game he scored) I am willing to bet any amount of money that the freak wants to put on the table that if you polled every man utd season ticket holder and every official supporters club if ole was a legend then the out come would be an overwhelming YES

Don't know why you're having this discussion. Ole is definitely a legend at Man Utd, of all the 90s players at Trafford, none ever showed his loyalty and professionalism.

Some people think his CL goal is the reason for legend status, but he was already becoming a legend by then, calling into question Ole's status is not only idiotic, it's a waste of debate space. Some people just like to have unpopular opinions for the shits and giggles, let them simmer alone in their basement and don't give them the entertainment of humoring them.

What you say is what most people think, unfortunately, we have a serial troll on this site (roathie) who can't understand why people have a different opinion to himself, it's almost a cry for help.
