There were rumours a month or so ago I believe Tony?

Thinking of Kenwyn Jones as a player, I think we could get much better than him. However, If Zaha & Noone can whip in their impressive crosses then you do need that Kenwyn Jones type player in the area who is able to smash that ball into the back of the net. I'd rather Ibrahimovic but that isn't happening anytime soon

I said in the summer we should go for him or Cameron Jerome so I am over the moon if this deal goes through because we needed a tall and strong player to bring the attacking midfielders into play and they can run off him. If we can get Ramis, Jones and Zaha in then its a great transfer window.

He's scored 5 in 10 games this season and people are slagging Jones off lol he's much better than anything we got

Common sense prevails. We should have signed him in the summer. Also having him up front in a 4-2-2 with Fraizer may very well prove to be a good partnership.

TV Show mate. Don't read comics. Only books I've read in the last few years are either to do with my university course, A song of ice and fire, ross kemp on gangs or Annis' book. I haven't even got around to reading all of Bellamy's book yet.

Probably as good as we can get in the January window, not prolific, but he is a handful and has experience, and it looks like we are lining up plenty of chance for him with attacking wingers and central midfielders.....

He"ll do for me. Not as good as Crouch so thats why he doesnt play so much. Crouch should still be in the england squad imo.

Plus he sounds like he comes from mid wales with a name like Ken Wyn Jones.

Someone in the know or someone must have put his name around yesterday because his odds joining us went down dramatically to 9/4 yesterday afternoon.

1 in 3.6......seen better, although recent form suggests he's in some sort of form, but with Ole hopefully bringing in a decent wideman and playing with alot more width and attacking intent probably the "type" of player we'll need.

Swapping him for odemwingie, it feels like we are literally shop lifting.

Peter is class in his own right, not this season mind you! But Jones is twice the player.
