See what I mean, you claim you only comment on silly comments. There was nothing wrong with that comment, then up you pop from your crevice with your comments. I'd worry about your own form before spouting your drivel on here.

That is a silly comment! Do you honestly think that PL managers will be saying "oh, it's only Cardiff, no need to make much of an effort here!" If you do, in this current league situation, you're more stupid than I took you for!

No I don't, the key word was 'hopefully' which implied that teams could underestimate us, not that they definitely are. It was a hypothetical post. Don't worry about my stupidity, you win the contest hands down. You're just behind roathy on 'most obsessed' poster too.

You've taken a hypothetical post as fact, that's your problem. I said no in reference to you saying that the original poster claimed that it was a certainty that managers will underestimate us, when in reality he didn't. He said he was hopeful. Teams may get into a false sense of a certain win, it's human nature at times that you can assume wins. I feel man city underestimated us at the start if the season, the same goes with Chelsea at home to crystal palace, even though they won, it was more hard work than it should have been.
You are obsessed. Why would you be on your rivals forum with a name like 'premier' jacks, joining when you got to the premier league? It's a bit of a inferiority complex that you feel the need to come on here even though you had just been promoted? How sad. You can wriggle your way out all you like but coming on your rivals forum for kicks is obsessive any way you look at it.

The idea that other teams, whether definitely or hopefully, will underestimate another side is ridiculous. Man City didn't underestimate you, they were awful! PL teams have a large scouting staff to ensure that that underestimation never happens. Sometimes teams just have a bad day. Do you think that the Cardiff staff are so unprofessional as to have underestimated Sunderland or West Ham? Of course not. The Sunderland game was down to the players taking their feet off the gas when they assumed the game was won. Against West Ham you were awful, as we were against you. This league is a multi-million pound industry, where teams use any method possible to gain an edge on an opponent, so to suggest underestimation is ludicrous

See you're mis-reading again. I never mentioned staff at all. Players can mis underestimate teams. It's human nature, no matter who you are and preparation done, you can still take things for granted. Players will be more up for 'big teams' than smaller sides who they're expected to beat and that's a fact. You were poor against us, but the more I see of you this season, the more I think that you're not that good and last season was a big over achievement. You can claim injuries play a factor, but you have a much bigger squad, with 'better quality' ,so injuries shouldn't be an excuse really. Man City I feel thought just thought they could turn up and win, no disrespect to us as we played well and limited them to certain areas. However yesterday, you could see the difference in mental attitude compared to the start of the season.

But mental attitude doesn't win you games, does it? If you're honest, you'll admit that yesterday City could have had eight or ten against you with better finishing.
It's the staff that ensure that players don't just think they have to turn up, that's my point.
When nine players are out through injury it's going to have an effect on any team regardless of depth.
But when they are all fit, we have almost another team to pick from. What have you got to add to your squad to keep you up?

Yes, we have a stronger squad, but to say that nine players out isn't going to hurt a team is wrong. Of course it is. We have been unable to play a settled squad due to number of games and injury

So you're now agreeing that players can be up for some games and not others? I'm saying that players can assume that teams are easier than others, so yes maybe they can be underestimated at times. You can have all the stats and videos you like but teams can have a one off performance that can excel or lower their normal performances.
Injuries will play an affect, but this year you have strengthened all over for Europe and at the start of the season you were looking at an easy top 10 finish according to many of you, you have also played a lot of games this season with many changes this season before your 'injury crisis', so it's been ongoing all season with an 'unsettled' side, which leads me to question whether your squad as a whole is cut out for a demanding campaign in Europe and the premier league or are you good enough as a squad as a whole?
