Fair play Man City were total class today and at one stage I thought we were going to lose 6nil.
But we kept at them and battled and even looked dangerous on the break, Man City's defence looked suspect on a few occasions and at 1-1, I thought for a short while miracles can happen.
Craig Noones goal was outstanding and every game he seems to improve. Once again well done to Fraizer Campbell scoring against a class side.

So the miracle never happened and we lost 4-2 and we can go home feeling that we gave our all. Ole can take something from today's game that the fighting spirit is still there amongst our squad and we now have to continue this performance by going to Bolton and getting a win and then when it really matters go for at least a draw at Old Trafford followed by a must win against Norwich City and I mean a must win, no ifs or buts if we are to stay up now that we are bottom of the Premier League,another first, we must not just play like we did today against the better teams, but " WE HAVE TO CONTINUE THIS PERFORMANCE AGAINST THE POORER TEAMS IN THE PREM. annis we had got to the stage where malkys trojans ran out of steam after 70 minutes and camped on the edge of the penalty area conceding goals in the last 15 minutes on a regular basis.

Yes, we beat them, and that will always be a memorable win for us, but at the time no one had any idea just how bad Man City's results were going to be on the road. Cardiff City under Malky only won 7 of our last 32 championship and Premier League matches and he has signed some utter shit - simply not good enough, he had to go. If Malky was still in charge now we would be in exactly the same place as we are now but with zero hope of avoiding relegation. I have seen a big improvement in our attacking play and ball retention since the change of manager. With Ole in charge and a couple of signings we still have a very good chance of avoiding relegation.

This team is very capable of staying up, will we? we will know in the next couple of months, but I've said it before keep cheering our players on no matter what. I applauded everyone of them of the pitch today incl Ole

We lost to, currently, one of the best sides in Europe with a 100% home record. I expected a spanking today (no CCMB style comments please, leave them there) but second half we more than held our own albeit briefly. The glass is half full not half empty.

As a slight aside, I did post last year about my doubts regarding Malky in the Premier but got shot down in flames, can't be arsed to find it. Great bloke, good manger and motivator but not quite ready for this level yet. He will be in time; for what its worth I wish him all the best as he did a great job for Cardiff City, one for the future. It's OGS now so he has my backing to dig us out of the hole.
