The last week on here, you have contributed to the banter/opinions etc
I know many of you are Man United/Liverpool fans, But hopefully we can slowly convert you to be a Cardiff City fan and BLUE![]()

I have tonight met a few more Norwegian reporters who tell me how big football is in your country. They also tell me ' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ' is like a National hero to you all, but they also tell me that some are worried that he might bring to many Norwegian players over to Cardiff and that might not be good as some think they are not good enough for Premier League.
Apparently Mats Moller Dæhli is suppose to be class.
Opinions please

I've been a Chelsea supporter sinse 1987 when John Hollins was the manager and my big heroes were Pat Nevin and Kerry Dixon. Also I chose Chelsea those days because all my friends where either Liverpool, Man United or Arsenal fans, and I wanted to go for a club that nobody I knew was a fan of. I also like BLUE!!!
Solskjær is for most football fans in Norway THE hero (even Norwegian Scousers) So most of us want the best for him.
PS! Cardiff is now my 2'nd team in the Premiership.

Didn't see any really bad reply's tbh, and it seems like the majority of the good posters here would enjoy information like this. I admire your passion for supporting the club, and wish your club all the best. The Norwegian tv-channel that airs the Premier League changed their schedule so everybody gets to see Cardiff vs West Ham this Saturday. I recon you will get a bunch of mini-supporters from Norway, and most likely a great deal of real supporters too. Manchester Uniteds fanbase is so big, and Ole is not only a hero in Norway but other places too, so you might get followers from places like China and other countries, too.
You will not turn me completely against my Man Utd and make me become a Cardiff City fan, but I will try to watch all the games I can manage in the future while there is still Norwegians at this club… so you never know, but…

On Mats Møller Dæhli. As you probably know by now, he was rated along with Adnan Januzaj as one of the up'ncoming stars at Manchester United. Becoming the "Acadamy player of the Year" he got called up to the reserve team along with Adnan, but didn't manage to become a regular and played mostly for the Acadamy while Januzaj became "Player of the year" for the reserve team. Surprisingly Mats chose to leave the club before he got to be a regular with the reserves. I think we possibly had some kind of buy-back-clause in the contract when he went to Molde. Maybe that's why the transfer got delayed now, maybe United had to be contacted about it or something. I don't know, its just speculation. But based on his talent, nobody understood why we let him leave.
You all know the talent of Adnan Januzaj… this guy is a different player, but with the same seemingly limitless talent. Adnan stepped up to the task and is already a trusted player in one of the biggest clubs in England. Mats may well reach the same level as Adnan soon if his progress continues… and I don't see why it wont. He has already debuted for his National Team, and is set to play a vital role for them to grow into what we belive will be a new era for us with a more modern playing style. He is already thought of to be the future brain and key-player to our National Team, stated by the Manager. The manager counts on him, and said he will let him play a lot already, kinda like the Danish Team did with C. Eriksen. In some ways, he is similar to Eriksen. I don't really know exactly where Mats is going to play, but i can see him most likely get played either behind the striker or on the wing/right-Cam position.
I wont be surprised if he gets a lot of playtime the rest of this season, but most likely he will not be outstanding in the PL right away (as Adnan) But he might contribute right away and be a good player for u. I can see him being near worldclass level next season, as he probably has grown a lot in that time, and should be even more confident on the highest level. It's exiting times for you. With that said, its probably others who have seen more of this player and can go deeper into his strength's and weaknesses. From what i know:
He is a technical, skillfull player with great vision and passing abilities. Quick and smart with the link-up play offensively and is probably better at setting people up rather than finish, himself. Always looking for teammates, very similar to Øzil when I think about it. Very similar, indeed! Has a long way to go, but posseses the talent u need to become as good, if not, better than Øzil and Eriksen… I belive he will get the best progress under Solskjær, and i feel safe he wont disappoint in the long run now…
