Look a lot like Vidic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus_Wolff_Eikrem He was seen leaving the stadium with Solskjær and they walked together into the Cardiff bus. Look like a done deal.

Is he anygd? Don't know nothing on him. Position, team?

He is a Attacking midfielder but can play out wide. His versatility is an asset though as he can play effectively all across the midfield, and also behind the striker in the hole.

Magnus Wolff Eikrem (born 8 August 1990) is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Dutch club Heerenveen. His regular playing position is in attacking midfield, though he can play anywhere across the midfield. Eikrem was born in Molde in the Norwegian county of Møre og Romsdal, and began his football career with his local club, Molde FK, before joining Manchester United at the age of 16 in 2006. Eikrem transferred back to Molde in January 2011, where Ole Gunnar Solskjær had become the new manager. Solskjær had also been Eikrem's manager at the Manchester United reserve team manager.[2] He joined Heerenveen in June 2013.

How many minutes has Cornelius played for us? How people can judge a player based on sod all game time is ridiculous really.

Posted this in another thread. Maybe fits better here:
The rumours are raising eyebrows in Norway. Not that he has not been mentioned among (ex-)Molde-players that Norwegian press would like to see go to Cardiff... But while he has a close relationship with Solskjær, and was central to the way Solskjær wanter Molde to play - he is after all just in the process of getting established in the Netherlands (came there last summer).
Some pundits here have warned him against bringing in Norwegian players, as there will be a risk of them being looked upon as the "norwegian quota" and judged against a higher standard because of that. And coming from a lower reputation league, it would probably not be a signing that would ensure immediate impact?
In Molde Eikrem played mostly as a holding midfielder (sometimes attacking midfielder), pacing the play and was pivotal for dominating possession. He played a patient game while always looking for the opportunity to play killer balls, often trying to find wingers with room to run at. Has been said to have a good vision of the play. How that will look like when playing in the Premier League is anyone's guess. According to Norwegian press reports a while back, Rene Meulensteen has been praising him and regretting that Alex Ferguson never gave him chances. Meulensteen compared him to Luka Modric and rated his technical and tactical abilities. But then again, Alex Ferguson deemed him not good enough (at least then).

He played a per season game, a DVP game, an fa cup game, a few sub cameos and he looks shit to me, that's just my opinion of course it can be wrong, but that's my opinion from watching him

He scored Pre season and then got injured. A development game is hardly a game to get up and express yourself, he's played roughly 20 minutes over 7-8 games which isn't enough for a player who is still settling into the country. Remember he is only 20 years old.

He could be shit hot in a season or 2 when he develops, but you want to give him a run of ten games where he will prob score fucall because he is not ready

That's what I mean, let him settle and judge him in a season or two. Look at kadeem Harris, everyone slagged him off for not being ready, now he's showing his potential.

Think ole will find it a lot easier to attract quality players to our club than malky did

Rene Meulensteen said that he could replace Ikay Gundogan at Dortmund. Sounds like a decent player. Would be the end of Whitts though IMO.

Not many managers could attract players like Steven Caulker and Gary Medal to a team like Cardiff City
But i hope you're right in thinking OGS will be able to get some big players in for us

I know what you are saying mate, 2 quality players I'm glad we signed, But what I mean is, I think ole will be able to attract quality players at the right price. We won't get held to ransom so much
Sat Jan 04, 2014 8:01 pm
I doubt there'll be many interested mate. Most people on here will be too busy arguing about the rebrand, saying cornelius is shit or debating whether we would have won today if malky was still here!
But thanks I'll have a look
