I guess we'll see now..........

Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:32 am

..............that now OGS is advocating attacking football whether we'll be good enough. Are we gonna start getting beat 4-2,5-2 instead of 1-0,2-0 or will we see the players competing and beating our fair share.

I think you should read the guys post again he is not saying we HAVE beaten our fair share but Will beat our fair share, looks to me like he is talking about the future not the past.

Castro only reads what he wants to read, just like he only does maths that shows what he wants to show! The top  ten Jacks have only won 5.

:laughing6: is that when you wanted to predict a trend against the 19 other teams in the league by only using the last 6 games instead of using all 20?

Yes ok Martyn. World of your own I tell you :D

How is that arguing or winding anyone up? It was a question, a simple one at that which could have been answered in one word.

Funny you should make that statement while name calling isnt it

the difference is 3 points, which is how far ahead of us they are in the table.

Anyway, it would be stupid to argue that, at present, Swansea will finish roughly 6 points ahead of us in the league, Everyone still has to play every team (except Away to Arsenal for us, Home to Man City for them) The new manager is a gamechanger though because who knows how we will react, could we be the first side this season to stop Mna City winning at home? Man united have already lost 4 at home, could we be the 5th? all unlikely, but we have seen with Palace what a new managers approach can do.

This, coupled with Swansea recent poor form and two tough matches v Napoli to come soon might make a difference, but i personally dont see it as important this season, lets just stay in the league first! :ayatollah:

The difference is 4 points in reality as we have a huge GD advantage. Thats a months worth of points and of course in order to overtake us we would have to get no points at all in that month.

This isnt the championship now, points are very hard to come by in this league.

one thing thats struck me this season, just how big a victory is. the West brom win for example changes a mind set completely, then a few bad results later and your back in the mire.

West ham next week is another 1, only need to look at the table to see its massive, a win there would take the pressure off our next two away matches before Norwich home (another massive game)

Spot on. That resonated with me in our first season too. Takes a while to get used to.

Points are so hard to come by, and then to gain ponts on someone is even harder. 3 or 4 point gap in the championship is nothing. 3 or 4 point gap outside the top 8 or 9 is very hard to make up.

I've notices aswell how vital a win is in the prem, its a completely different feeling to the championship

I think Castro is confused by which City he supports! To us decimals or not use decimals that is the question! To round up or down, whichever suits me best!
I'm sure our resident mystic peg will have some obscure, irrelevant analogy to explain the mysteries of the universe.

 my word you really dont understand what you read earlier do you :D

If you need 4.3 games to get the sufficient points - THAT HAS TO BE ROUNDED TO 5 GAMES. If you only played the 4 then you wouldn't get the points and you cant stop at half time and go home with the points.

As usual with you getting your knickers in a twist I also did exactly the same sum to suit your wording too - funny thing is, the result was exactly the same but you were too thick to notice

Well if it wasnt you it was a very similar username - i will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Although as a tip. If you dont want jacks here then try not to talk about us so much. The fact is half the time it is more like a swams forum than a cardiff one. Our friend beddaubluebird/bookie/martyn is a fantastic example of that. Over his 2 usernames and nearly 250 posts - over 200 of them are Roathy or Swansea related
