Just looking back at these photos, other than the 1970 photo

they certainly bring back memories and you really do remember who was really there in the old days. There were away games when as little as 11 went away, most away games an average of 300-400, then once in a while City would take a 1,000 to the big ones. Cardiff fans 3rd/4th Division days

Cardiff fans in the Grandstand away at Hartlepool seconds before it kicked off. 1986 our first ever match in the old 4th Division. There was about 15 Cardiff in the top part of the Grandstand against dozens of either Boro or Hartlepool in the lower section., it was the main news on the Itv that night as game was delayed for 20 minutes.

Brilliant days, especially when only a few hundred max would travel away - this made us a very tight knit following. How the fashion has changed, I remember when it was cool to tuck your jumper into your jeans whilst wearing a scarf that covered three quarters of your head ....lol!
