There are four league games before we play each other on February 8th, both sides face two of the current top 7 sides and two of the current bottom 6 sides.

There are just 3 points separating our teams at the present.

Both squads are likely to be strengthened before we face each other but how do you think both teams will fair before meeting each other in what could be the most important South Wales derby ever.

I predict Cardiff will pick up 6 points from the home games and possibly nick a point at Old Trafford.

The Jacks I think will get 3 points from their home game against Fulham and take three points from Upton Park and like ourselves possibly nick a point at Old Trafford.

If my predictions are correct then Swansea could stretch their 3 point gap over us if they beat us when we face each other or will City do the double for the first time ever and join Swansea on 27/28 points ?

Would be nice to close the gap, enough to potentially overtake them by beating them again, but can't see it at the moment. Anything else and we will be in dire straights - not much better for them, if they only pick up say 2 points from that then they will be in a shaky position when they play us -with a lot to lose.

Would like to think you're right... But can't see it! 6 points from the two home games is a very good shout and I hope you're right! As for a point at old TRAFFORD... I can't see it. We beat the Mancs at home remember, one of the best days out iv'e ever had, August bank holiday, brilliant weather, a fantastic atmosphere, our first home game in the premiership and what a performance it was. Week before that? Dismal 2-0 defeat to West Ham.

My point is footballs a funny old game, the one thing we have got in our favour in regards to the derby is that the amigos at Swansea couldn't give a toss about the game and don't know what it means to the fans, they lacked passion and drive when we played them here. Fortunately our players cared. I can't wait.

Agree with you on the last sentence. I do not expect wins away against any of the top 8, I do not expect us to get a point. I do expect us to give a good performance and give them something to think about. Against Arsenal whilst we defended bravely we offered f**k all going forward when we had the chance to. Arsenal bombed forward because they knew we weren't going to attack when we had the ball.

That has been the problem! I absolutely love frazier Campbell and his energy, Same goes for mutch but we don't have a real cutting edge and most games we rarely look like scoring. The formation plays a part in that and the instructions to the players from the side. Ogs hopefully is going to address this problem and possibly play a 442 which instantly gives us fans hope. 2 up tops (cornelius & Campbell my choice) and I think we could cause teams problems, with mutch and noone's directness and them two up tops and medel Guarding the back 4 I'm sure we'll be fine! (all my opinion lol)

Get a grip, we beat Man City they lost to them, Swansealona they are not, and injuries and fatigue are starting to take it's toll.
