Annis - Agreed. If he can get a team to play like he used to then fans would flock to see us play good attractive football.

A £50 spread over OGS, Ince, Hoddle and Vural will give guaranteed profit, then there is always one that may come from wide field ??

Hoddle is the only one out of the ones mentioned who could earn some browny points for Tan

Hoodle and OGS are the stand out candidates. For me I would take either of them with a slight preference for Hoodle. Hoodle's name and reputation in the game could compensate for the image the club now has in the game with regards to attracting better quality signings.

Hoddle has the best credentials and talks sense. :thumbright:

I think Glenn Hoddle would be a massive boost for everyone at the club. I just get the impression hes not too keen on getting back into management and has been out of the game for a little while now.
Ex players often say hes an incredible coach / manager.
I can see him doing the ayatollah on that touch line, no problem.

Would he bring Eileen Drewery With him as his number 2 faith healer ???

The press will have a field day with Tan and Hoddle, but he is a high profile Manager, so maybe that's who they will choose ???

I would go Beisla, if we failed to get him OGS, then Hoddle,

I wouldn't even consider Ince or Sven.......

Huddle: Has the experience, excellent knowledge of the Premiership and would no doubt add more flair/ attacking options to the City team.

Of the realistic candidates I'd go for Hoddle or OGS, my number 1 choice though would be Bielsa.

Like others I wouldn't consider Ince, Sven, DJ, etc.

OGS or Hoddle for me. I think both are a risk but anyone is given our current situation to be honest. My concern about OGS is that his inexperience of a relegation battle might make him a lesser candidate than Hoddle who knows what it is like to manage a team during a rough patch.

Hoddle edges it but OGS would be fine with me provided we signed him on a long term deal meaning we'd keep him even if we went down. We need stability.

Marcelo it has to be he's an amasing manager and with a bit of money from Vincent could produce some magical football that we been crying out for under Malky

Hoddle all the way, be a major coup if we got him

Been in a far worse league position when taking over at Southampton and got them safe from relegation and he has also worked with Kerslake before!!!

FFS Tan stop messing around and get Hoddle in!!!!

Don't understand why people would want Hoddle.

Where has he done well as a manager?

Re: Of the names mentioned so far

People get excited over the name Hoddle.

He never really done anything at management level and his last job was 7 and a half years ago. That's a long time to be out of the day-to-day aspects of football.

Yes he will have contacts but its what they do on the pitch that matters.

Biesla or Guidolin for me. Proven pedigree and could add to the British backbone of our squad. Both these men would fancy their chances and have already over achieved with unfancied clubs in their respective leagues. Both have tactical nous and I believe both would keep us up.

Beyond that I would be happy with Hoddle and Solskjaer though I think both would be a gamble. Hoddle because of his connections with Eileen Drewery and the fact that he is known not to be the best man manager in the world and Solskjaer cos he has only worked in Molde and his contacts and players he's been scouting may have been confined to that region.

Ince, Dave Jones, Sven and any Malaysia coach can all do a running jump and would all spell disaster for our club and certain relegation in my opinion!

football has moved on in the last seven years since hoddle last managed a team so to put him in with a relagation battle going on in the prem for me isnt the answer although i do do like glen and i think he would calm a lot of things down off the pitch and make us a more sensible and stable club.

OLE has never even managed in league 2 in this country so he is a massive risk and I see him similiar to malky up and coming young manager differance being I feel malky has the edge on Ole so in my eyes a step back.

Sven, Ince and the turk so no more forget it not even worth talking about are they .

No name been mentioned so far that gives me great confidance but i really hope at of all of them its not Paul Ince or the turk.

Whats hiddick up to these days knows the league well been all over the place in the football world i feel someone like hiddick would be a safer bet than any of the other names and feel a tryed and test manager will be the better option to keep us up .Also if Tan gave him 15 mill i would have more confidance in his signings than any of the mangers on citys list.
