Shinobipony wrote:Premier League side West Ham are willing to let midfielder Ravel Morrison leave in January if an acceptable bid is tabled, according to the Sunday Telegraph.
The young midfielder has set the Premier League alight this season with a series of impressive performances for the Hammers, but only has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Upton Park.
And according to reports, Morrison has an extraordinary clause in his contract, which sees his wages quadrupled if a bid of £10 million is submitted to the East London club and they reject it. However, this offer will have to be paid upfront, and not in stages like most transfer dealings.
Morrison currently earns £15,000-a-week with West Ham, which will rise to £60,000-a-week should a £10 million offer be made for his services. The England youth international also has an £18 million release clause in his contract.
With his contract winding down, coupled with Morrison’s problems in the past, the Hammers are seriously considering selling the midfield maestro should a large enough offer come in.

Something don't seem right here.

OGS did manage the Utd youth team a few years ago.
I'd love us to get Morrison. Everytime I've seen him play he's been class, but have to feel he's destined for much bigger things then either of us Daya.

Need the money fella , simple as that. We don't have billionaire owners. We are also moving house. We have to buy quite a lot to stay up too which will be short term buys like Peter Crouch as an example, Ricky Lambert et al and centre halves as all crocked and we ain't got one now.

Daya.Do you think there's a chance the board could sack Allardyce and replace him with Malky Makay? Or couldn't they afford to sack Sam?
