the ref was booed , not the players

Sun Dec 29, 2013 10:32 am

i was gutted after yesterdays result, but at the same time. i cant remember the last time i felt so positive about the team.. good football for 75 minutes. great open play with kim pulling strings, in fact all the midfield looked like they had taken off their shackles and went for them. joy to watch. it was a shame that for the last 15 minutes old habits which had been installed into them by mr malky . sit back deep and kick it away tactics, givin the ball back to the opposition so they can come again..until in the end you either crawl over the winning line or you lose your advantage in the last seconds like we normally do..sorry to say you could see it coming. but overall it was a much more positive and i must say entertaining game of football, and if they learn to keep the ball right to the end, we might move on from here. at least i enjoyed that performance and did not go home bored out of my skull. i hope that is the end of boring negative defensive shit which we have got used to this season..

Why was the ref booed? He didnt make any dodgy decisions as far as I saw?

I don't think he made any big decisions against us, but there were a lot of niggly fouls that went unpunished or the other way and he seemed to blow for every challenge Kimbo made and let some hefty ones on him go. He certainly couldn't be accused of being a homer that's for sure...

Hardly robbed. We deserved it for sitting back and allowing them to play. It was most definitely coming.

Poor substitutions also cost us.

He is supposed to add on 30 seconds for each booking, sub and goal.

There were 3 bookings, 2 goals and 5 subs = 5 mins.

But it should never of been 5 minutes injury time, If the ref had done is job properly give 3 minutes like it should of been we would of won 2-1

Why shouldn't have we had 5 minutes? I'd say that was about right.

Why not? 5 was correct.

Stoppage time isnt an arbitary 3 mins.

I actually agree with chuckles on this one, we were too deep inviting them in, you could see the second goal coming!
