Anyone think It's like Eddie Johnson all over again, only £20m odd more expensive?

His skill when one on one with the keeper was embarrassing

He wasn't one on one with the keeper. There was a defender there ;)

Re: Andreas Cornelius

Sat Dec 28, 2013 7:31 pm

Nothing I've seen of him suggests he is any better than Rudy.

Re: Andreas Cornelius

Sat Dec 28, 2013 7:35 pm

Not at all - a striker up front by himself won't do anything to change a game when he's brought on with 10 mins to go, when the rest of his team mates are fucked.

Re: Andreas Cornelius

hes still young you lot will probably ruin his career.
all we need is a confident shot player put under the spot light at the wrong time.

Feel sorry for him hes been brought in and people expect miracles from him hes only a boy

The lad is only getting 10 mins a game how do you expect him to perform miracles!

Re: Andreas Cornelius

Malky's plan may have been to introduce him gradually.

However, his initial injury then all the ructions within the club annihilated the plan.

He is now trying to cope with a much higher pressure situation while playing just a few minutes at a time.

Needs a decent run to judge.

Damn, Malky has gone, who do we blame now :(

f*cking joe pasquale could offer more up front than cornelius atm tbh, im sick to death of people saying hes young hes one for the future well we aint man city ffs spending a fortune on a player to sit on the bench we have to be playing players who cost that weekly end of.

Re: Andreas Cornelius

bluebird1977 i told my lad that we could pick a 6 foot 6 player from the welsh league to do a similar job and i mean it

i do feel your frustration !

I Said it at the time ( and a very long long time ago ) for £8M - We could have got Jordan Rhodes ;)

Comments on this post are bleeding stupid. Cornelius may or may not be a good player. He does NOT deserve any criticism at all. You can START to judge him after 15 to 20 starts. If he doesnt get the chance to start you can then slag off Malkey for dropping a bo::ock. In the meaantime you are going to put extra pressure on a 20 year old new signing. Leave him alone you tarts.
:P

Be interesting to see how the new boss plays him...

Not having a laugh my friend, just talking common sense - but sadly common sense is not very common on some of these threads.

First impressions are he looks lazy and not many tricks in the locker.

Hasn't started a league game and a few appearances off the bench, good judgments. :notworthy:
