I am ashamed that our club has treated our manager in a way that other clubs have done previously when they have succeeded in gaining promotion to the Premier League.



Vincent Tan had his finger on the trigger for some time and it was just a case of when he would pull it.




If Tan wishes to unite fans today and get the vast majority on board then he should do a number of things. . . .

It wasn't a great advertisement for our club. Whoever leaked the email was to blame I guess.

Regarding Malky's comments on wanting three new players, he could have meant loan signings at little cost for the club but I guess it pissed emperor Tan off due to his controversial signings of Cornelius and that full back.

I'm increasingly baffled by this blind devotion to MM on the one hand and the vitriol shown to Tan on the other. Malky has had a huge budget to spend compared to other promoted teams. Hull this season, Swansea a couple back - they couldn't dream of the money Malky's had. And what did we get? Anti-football of the highest degree, shocking transfers and a one way ticket back to the Championship.

Tan was too trusting, but now he's asked the question he can see what a mess they made. Quite right he got annoyed!

Your anger is too late. You're angry about the rebrand, but you took it in return for Tan's millions. Don't grumble now the benefactor has belatedly realised how his money has been wasted so horrifically.

It's called trying to stay in the prem. malky is a nice guy but no better than holloway, warnock, Adkins and McDermott who are all good champ managers at best

2 sides to every story.....Malky seemed a nice bloke but the tactics are shocking

His signings were mixed at best

Annis, we are not turning on Malky, yes I am very grateful for what he has achieved at our club. However, there are two sides to every argument we will never hear the whole story regardless of what is printed in the press?

As for the performance on the pitch I do feel Malky has taken us as far he he could!

Ashamed no, embarrassed yes.....

We have a lot to be ashamed of as fans in our infamous history, this doesn't compare.

This has been as poorly handled as possible, as you and AA always say the truth will come out, it looks a little trickled out this morning.

Time to move on and support the team. We need to keep ourselves blue and give Tan a dignified way back to blue.

If you mean the criticism Tan has faced over the unprofessional way the whole players bonus, Iain Moody, Borat and Malky has been handled then it is deserved.

Gotta agree with this. Can't stand Tan, but if the Mail is right (& it has been all season) then I can understand his reasons for it. I still disagree with his handling of it all.

Clubs have spent more than us in recent years and are still no nearer the top flight. Money does not buy success, it's been proven time and time again.

All I care about and have done from day one is that Dictator Tan stripped us of our Identity.

As to Malky, I supported him till the day he left.

I think many if us accept that Malky had to go because of the breakdown in relationship between him and Tan but you want to twist the words of Sam Hammam because it is Sam Hammam.

Gotta agree with this. Can't stand Tan, but if the Mail is right (& it has been all season) then I can understand his reasons for it. I still disagree with his handling of it all.

The Pro-Tan fight back is in full flow, obviously now he is being advised with a damage limitation exercise and 'dirty linen' is being washed publicly, maybe his advisors should have been advising him months ago and not allowed this situation to fester and grow.

It's blatantly obvious that nothing printed about malky is true like the contacts! But every thing by tan is true even when no one knows the real truth! The truth is what people believe is true and not what it actually is! Especially on here.

I can't remember any anti-Tan protests before the Man City game, or Utd or Swansea. Perhaps I missed them, but I suspect there were in fact no protests. We're all of a sudden protesting about the rebrand because we object it Malky getting the boot, this despite him overspending and overseeing a team that has produced arguably the least attractive football in the history of the Premier League.


Football fans are fickle, ours take it to another level.

But the Daily Mail has been given much kudos on here over the last year for being on the button with other stories about our club. We can't have it both ways.

There seems to be a blind homage to MM for reasons other than him being sacked. People are obviously using the sacking as a means to get Tan out and return the club to the chasing pack.

I want Tan out just so we can get the fanbase back together but had Tan not been in charge Malky would still be soon for the sack. MM was clever, he held out for the sack, will get his contract paid out and will then walk into another job.

All around us have sacked their managers looking for an instant boost and the time was right. Add to that the stories that are now coming out about treatment of certain players and overspending and you can understand this outcome.

There could be a lot of rumour in the stories but they are only as bad as the stories about Tan.

I'd love to hear Michael Isaac speak out on this matter. He has an opinion and it is damning but he doesn't speak out much.

Carl, I honestly believe that Sam is not innocent in all of this. All of this started to arise when Sam was welcomed back to the club. He must have been advising Tan is some sort of capacity. But that is just my opinion!

Not turning on Malky just if the Mailonline is to be believed then MM and Moody have a lot to answer for.
The amount of some of the salaries plus add ons are farcical and for what!?...the c**p we have had to endure the past 12 games Annis you neen to drop your bone of contention regarding the rebrand and take a long good look at the article in the Mail.

It was Malky using the press all along and putting Cardiff in the public eye for the wrong reasons. You simply cannot blame Tan for that.
