Managing Chile and Athletico Bilbao is very good and both play some great stuff judging on what I seen.

Tommy Smith would be devastated. He's still having nightmares after playing against him in pre-season

Would absolutely love him to take the reins at Cardiff... If only he can convince Alexei Sanchez to sign![]()
However, it seems he would have a lot of work to do at Cardiff to get the team playing in his style

"The suspicion is that Bilbao is a better home for him than Milan, on various levels. These range from the very basic details (Spanish-speaking manager will immediately be able to communicate in Spain rather than in Italy) to the composition of the side. Athletic are a young, energetic team who played high-tempo, vibrant, Bielsa-style football under his predecessor Joaquin Caparros, whereas Inter are used to playing slow football and defending deep, and also have an elderly side."
However, against Fulham away we did play quick engaging football... So the possibility is there... Just probably need a couple more players to make it happen... Let's see... Could be interesting

Not got a clue how you're so sure. Obviously Medel and him are close'ish. Never say never in football.
This post is bookmarked.

Im sure he will be offered more money than anything Cardiff could offer if he wanted a job and made himself available. Why would he damage his reputation?

I think that may be a little harsh, i'm sure he would make a good account of himself here if he was given the funds to implement the players & tactics he wants.
For the record, I don't believe he will come here either,
But strange things do happen in this sport we love

He is a manager that wants to add to his reputation by winning things. The chances of him doing that at Cardiff are slim. Best he could hope for is keeping you up with a high-ish finish. That isnt going to increase his reputation on the world stage.
I just think its incredibly unrealistic.
