498 minutes

Sun Dec 22, 2013 9:30 am

Mutch's goal yesterday was our first away goal for 498 minutes.

Shocking statistic.

:D

What I love about this site. Some of us are willing to stand up and bring us down to earth.

The stats dont lie Ian.

The support for MM is all very plausible but it doesnt change the fact we are as toothless as a gummy shark in front of goal.

No getting away from that fact.

£8.5 million on a striker who now we know is not ready. If that was my money I would want questions answering. Its who is answering those questions I feel is the problem.

Good question.

Can't answer it but I wonder what Tans perception is on it and who has been advising him.

Re: 498 minutes

Malky said he didnt buy him to hit the ground running, he has bags of potential.

I know 50 players who have bags of potential craig who play in league 1-2 that wouldnt cost 80k let alone 8+ million

Even more shocking that it wasnt from open play again. Which means you are now well over 500 and counting - was the last goal you scored a set piece too?

No

So 530 mins and counting roughly since last away goal from open play

With Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City and Man Utd your next 4 away games that really could reach around 900 mins - wonder what the record is.

Still picked up a few points though so not all that bad . Personally still optimistic . Think we will do the business at home against the teams in and around us . Looking fwd to seeing noone link up with the Dane . Think that will give us more of a threat . Frazier works very hard but think peter O needs to pick it up a fair bit . Very weak on sat

Cheers :ayatollah:

Great we are so good from set pieces, we should be scoring more from open play though.

6 open play goals in 17 games is an amazing stat.

Re: 498 minutes

Weve only scored 13 goals so those stats are not correct.
