The usual definition of "selling out" as I understand it is that you have bums on every seat. Don't quite see how your response addresses that issue.

A bit tricky when our capacity doesn't allow it at the moment of course.

First season we had capacity crowds for every game. Disappointing that a capital city and massive club can't fill their stadium for only the eighth home game of their debut Premier League season.

Don't let fans not sitting on their seats and being in the concourse because it was hammering down be a hitch to your agenda.

So are you suggesting that they didn't come through the turnstiles, then, because if they had then surely they would be included in the attendance of 26,632, which is not capacity

26,632 attendance
1,800 away fans
= 24,832 home fans

A home sell out?

Home ends were sold out. WBA had just over 1000 out of allocation of 2800. Do the maths Johnny the brains.

WBA had an allocation of 1800 which according to their website they sold out. Do you not put unallocated away tickets on sale to home fans?

Fair point but premierjerk criticising us for empty seats is like me having a pop at you for having a 19,500 crowd v Wigan when the reason for it was poor away support.

We were down I agree, but that's down to a few factors. One being that the club messed up by not saying tickets were available until late notice. I know fans who didn't go as they assumed there was none left. Second, west brom didn't not sell their allocation and we didn't act upon this by releasing tickets for our fans and thirdly as I mentioned, fans were in the concourse due to adverse weather conditions. I mentioned nothing about people coming through turnstiles, I was simply relying to your remark about 'bums on seats'.

Dress it up any way you wish but the hard fact is that you couldn't get a capacity crowd after only seven home games.

Not 100% certain of figures but there is a block normally used for away fans next to ninian stand which can be converted to home fans but only a limited number of seats can be used due to segregation.

In your 3rd game v wigan you had less than 20,000. So going by your argument swansea didnt have a capacity crowd after 3 games.

Wow - you really need to get a life. Last time you were threatening to report this forum and attempt to close it down, now this.

Home ends were totally sold out. Club announced that extra tickets were available at short notice, due to west Brom not bringing allocation & were possibly at too short notice for many.

This is all trivial anyway, as it's :

A) only a few thousand off your record EVER attendance.
B) thousands more than you could ever muster at the Liberty.

:thumbright:

So you agree that there was not a capacity crowd. Pretty amateurish ticketing system as well by the sounds of it

But the point is, Mr. Chuckles, that this forum gives us stick for our capacity, yet you are unable to achieve your capacity for only your eighth PL home game. Clearly the home ends weren't sold out as tickets were available to Cardiff fans but not taken up.
