 ANOTHER big European name?

If your Europa ties have been so glamorous, can you tell me why hardly anyone has attended them - home or away?

The last two occasions we've had the chance to prove who is better - there's only been one winner. After all - if you were so much better, you would have beaten us last month.

Spellings improved though, Joey Swansea.

See, now look what its caused

You cant honestly think you are the better side chuckles?

He is an idiot for posting that, but dont stoop to his level with silly posts. If one off games proved who was better you would be above both us and Man City... All the while Palace being better than you, so by proxy, should be title winners.

Player for player you have the better team, but we are closer than most Swansea fans would like to think.

After all - if you were as good as you lot seem to think you are (see my sig) you would have merely blown us away. :D

If he's willing to go on about these big European ties - I will quite rightly question why the crowds haven't been bigger.

A struggling team who the hiney moon period is over in the big league, cant score from open play unless its in thair, and no money in jan.

A team doing just fine in their first premiership campaign who have scored several from open play.

Tell me again, if these European ties are so glamorous and wonderful - how come the fans haven't packed out?

But Man City lost to you too, are you suggesting that as a result they arent far ahead of you either - using the same theory?

These one off games have naff all to do with anything other than who plays better on the day or even who wants it more. We have been pretty much top 10 every year and never been in a dogfight, in my opinion you are some way off that - hence the difference in our clubs.

Napoli in the last 32 of the Europa League IS a huge game, surely you cant argue otherwise? Well, argue and actually hold that opinion that is.

Man City also have a far greater points total than us, suggesting that they are far superior. You have just three points more than us.

As I said, the teams are far closer than any Jack dare to admit. :thumbright:

Yes, it is a huge game & fair play to you lot for that. I just disagree that it's "another" massive European game. Judging by the crowds, I'd suggest the Swansea faithful feel that way too.

Re: And so it seams

Tue Dec 17, 2013 12:19 pm

Why is he allowed on here.

I asked a question on the jack site, about why we make gas noises at games. Genuinely no idea why. My friend said someone died at some point. People went mental. Can someone explain it to me? So I don't ask again.

I had another account banned for saying our midfield is better than theirs.

Re: And so it seams

Thats honey by the way.
And u realy should not talk about poor crowds as u are clearly struggling.
Every home game there are hundreds of empty seats, and wile u might say pepole are shoppung and dont take there seats! The fact remains its not even half way through your first season with th big boys and fans are allready not turning up.
At least we did fill every home game in our first season and as for europa I think u will find that all the teams in the europa or champs league dont get full crowds in the early stages.

But if they lost to you then surely it would mean you are better? We either go by that theory (which is clearly stupid) or we could understand that the league represents who is better more often than not - especially at the halfway stage. 3 points after 16 games is the equivalent to 7 points after seasons end - not to mention the far superior goal difference which in reality makes that 8 points.

8 points higher than you is what id expect. We have got around the 46-47 points mark each season, 8 points behind that is 38-39 which sees us mid table and you on the cusp of relegation. Again, what id expect.

Valencia games were pretty big, especially away when it was anyones guess whether we would go through. We sold out away in spain - thats pretty good.

No there aren't. You saw a few empty seats on Saturday due to the downpour and everyone going to watch the game in the concourse. I remember you trying to argue that you saw one empty seat an Man City. You're obsessed Joey. :laughing6:

Massive European games - yet nobody at Swansea could be bothered to go and see any of them.

 you can't just add a point for goal difference... Well, unless it suits your agenda of course.

It acts as an extra point as we would be above you if the points were the same. You could take that point away and the result is the same.

7 points ahead given our normal season sees us on 46 and you on 39 - again mid table against the cusp of relegation. Thats the difference in the clubs and im not sure anyone has suggested any different.

But it isn't an extra point. :thumbright:

You're about right though - that's what I would predict too. Which means the teams are much closer than most of the jacks on here would like to admit. :laughing6:

You would need the extra point on top of the 7 to finish above us, which is the point. So you would need 8. Which is quite a big difference.

The difference is a mid table club a relegation threatened team - nobody would suggest any different surely? Most swansea fans would admit to this being the case - its hardly close.

7 or 8 points is what you amassed in nearly a fifth of a season.

Which is what I've just said. Sadly, most of your fellow supporters predicted much more than mid table for yourselves this season.

Although the way things are at the moment, I don't see you finishing top 10 again.

I dont think that is true in the slightest. Who predicted us finishing higher than top 10? And who constitutes "most"?

We are top 10 currently which has coincided with traveling to Europe or playing extra games every other week. Thats excellent. We now dont have a european game until mid Feb.

7 points and a superior goal difference is quite convincing. Going by your current points to game ratio, you would need to play 7 more games after the season to amass the sufficient points to finish above us - thats significant.

Many said you would do even better this year. Going on current form, they are wrong.

For me - you'll be about 12th with 6/7 points more than us.
