What happened in the away end after the game? All I saw fron the canton was a load of pushing and shoving between stewards and west brom fans

There was a hullabaloo - which seemed to result in a gentleman clad in an England flag being detained by the constabulary.

Obviously the dog was standing up and the steward ejected it when it refused to sit. :)

I watched it from 117 and it appeared they (Police and Stewards) initially chased someone down the corner tunnel and then 'arrested' one individual just above the stairway. His mates then got 'lippy' and it became 'handbags' for a little while, whilst they tried to get people safely to the foyer...

I noticed one (youngish) Baggie Steward chase a guy across the stand and I am sure that if he had caught him he would have planted him one as he was so incensed. Other fans kept him at bay (with a few threats, I think ;) ) and eventually he retreated back to the steps where he then proceeded to 'rugby tackle' another Baggie fan (out of pure adrenalin filled frustration  ) as he was leaving the stand surrounded by lots of Stewards...

All in all, a bad day for them (the Baggies) but watching from afar, the police appeared to be more conciliatory than the Baggies Stewards...

Shame on them TBH

Right next to it in the family end. Stewards seemed to push some fans down the steps. It all went off, a lot of punches thrown in direction of stewards, Majority of fans couldn't get out as stewards and couple of police battling with fans at the stairs exit so just looked like a mass brawl probably from afar, but only a few involved most were just trying to get out

I sit in 123 10 seats away from the, erm, away. Have loved some of the away support this season but WBA were the absolute pants - worst so far. Quiet throughout the game and then excessively scruffy and ugly adults gobbing off at women and kids getting increasingly angrier. Then they start fighting amongst themselves when a few got over-excited. Not all of them but just a few wanabee tossers safe behind the stewards and cops who really should know better. But then, what do you expect. Birmingham is an absolute cess-pit, no wonder their pissed off. 1-0 to the Family Stand. f**k'Em.

From the WBA fan I know….

2 kids jumped over from Cardiffs family stand, they were probably about 8 years old and well, I am totally embarrassed to say that they gave us all a good kicking, even our 'lads' ran away.

I was in the family stand and right near to wba fans one bloke a right mouthy tw*t was shouting f*cking meet us at cardiff central f*cking meet us at cardiff central at families.
Heard off a baggie that a wba fan stormed off pouting in a pissed off mood at the final whistle and pushed a steward down the steps that's how it started whether that's true or not i don't know..
Never the fans fault  i hate it when fans give the big one and cry when stewards and police retaliate

Discussing a few knobheads pushing each other around like girls amongst themselves
in the away end is boring!

It was a non event! Yet we still have wannabee hooloigans thinking it is something that it wasn't!
