malky has to go

Wed Dec 04, 2013 9:57 pm

Upset that ive had to come to this conclusion after todays game as I like him as a man, and as a manager he will have a successful career for another 20 years im sure..... but this football is killng me. Its not the result, as a point away to stoke is fine. Its the manner of the way they went about it. Not just the performance which was dreadful. But the set up, lact of change of approach. Reluctantness to bring on any subs to alter the game and willingnes to apparently accept 0-0 every away game is boring me to tears.

Malky may well keep us up..... just..... but I want more, and with the money we spent we should be getting it.

About today's match.... how f*cking hard is it for a professional footballer to cross the ball higher than 6ft for fucks sake! Pure, pure dreadful game! Might have snatched it with a penalty, but got more than we deserved as it was!

Look I think he played for a point it was an even game. lets beat them at home before we start moaning.

Posted this in another thread, but i'll copy/paste it to this unevitable 4 pager.

Malky knows what he is doing, he set the team up to grind out a draw, did you honestly expect a relegation battle match between cardiff and Stoke to be....like watching Brazil???

Malky makes the tactical decisions well, whether they be to grind out a draw, or to take the game to the opposition as we have done in the games at home in the games we have taken unexpected points. Malky is no mug, keep the faith.

I haven't got as far as MM out just yet but I agree with some of your points.

I managed to find a link of the whole Everton game to see how they done so well and that guy on loan Delfeou or however you spell it tore them a new one, he was just simply too quick and tricky to handle and he didn't really track back much, Noone should of been used and Cornelius didn't even get a second.. really would have changed the game for me.

There is playing for a point and playing for a point.... hes instilled such a saftey first approach from all the players that there is time wasting in the first half! Slow ponderous play from everyone when going forward! Its just mind numbingly awful to watch!

Possibly the best manager the club has ever had and you want him out...unbelievable.

I sometimes think back to when Dave Jones said that if we ever got to the Prem, the fans would be demanding we won it. Despite the fact that he said some stupid things, the sentiment in that quote was spot on.

Re: malky has to go

Wed Dec 04, 2013 10:02 pm

I don't want him gone. I just hope he gets the team to attack just a little bit more.

Re: malky has to go

Is this a joke?

Great point tonight and even when we play not so well we still grinder out a result.

DJ was right about the fans and the truth hurting is probably it's why he was hated despite, like Malky, being a great manager for us.

If left to it, Malky will get this club where it needs to be.

Here f*cking here pal, as I'm now just a customer for the club as vincent kindly reminded us all, I want to be entertained watching the games but there's more entertainment in watching a fly buzzing about in your living room after the missis left the front door open, we are shocking so f**k MM off and have a go atleast so I can be entertained this season. :ayatollah:

That's correct paul, don't listen to all these malky love inn fans for f**k sale we could lose 5-0 without a shot on target and they would be out in force clutching at straws to cover up a 5-0 hammering rather than blame malky there so far up the guys arse only because he talks to the press unlike the last manager, because malkys football is in no way entertaining end of.

Ian, you hate the manager, you hate the style of football, you hate the owner, you hate the rebrand, you hate the johny come lately fans, you hate the atmosphere at the CCS, you might as well go back to supporting York City, like you did back in the 80's! and I insist you chnage your avatar pic to Victor Meldrew

Malky is loved more than Cardiff itself by some on here. Parking the bus and launching up to Campbell all game won't work during the course of the season. Watch us lose to Palace and Malky to go into his interview talking about how tough away games are and how good of a group he has.

I don't think we should sack malky! But he need to grow some balls. At least give it go to achieve 3 points

i did say in my post that i think Malky might just keep us up while playing this way, and perhaps one or two new players in January might make a difference.

I wasnt bothered by West ham as it was our first game, Norwich was awful but again, i didnt get too annoyed as it happens. Villa, we played some good stuff first half but yesterday topped it all off for me.

ive calmed down a bit from last night, and of course a win on saturday puts us in a fantastic position! i just want to see some football

The thing is paul we all want to see some football, half decent football and as it stands we hardly play any of that even if we are picking up a point vs the stokes away who was there for the taking if we just had a go at them, three points is a must sat VS palace, even if we got beat 3-0 at palace people will still say fans who moan are fickle and malky done no wrong, that's how it rolls online with opinions. Imo because MM is good with his media talk unlike are last manger fans will always back him over results and performances. :ayatollah:

About today's match.... how f*cking hard is it for a professional footballer to cross the ball higher than 6ft for fucks sake! Pure, pure dreadful game! Might have snatched it with a penalty, but got more than we deserved as it was!

Would you rather us play like we have and stay up or be more adventurous/entertaining and go down?

Ideally we could but I'd rather not risk it. Staying in this league is the most important thing 2 me this season. I'd take 0-0 and 1-0's all season if it means we stay up.

 I really, really don't understand where you want us to finish? We are a newly promoted club, playing in a new league, pundits and bookies go against us every single game, yet we come away from places like hull, Norwich and stoke with a point and you want malky gone? Safety is the key this year, not top 10. It's a work in progress. Sounding like one of them arsenal/ man utd fans I work with who want a change of manager every time they don't win the champions league.

Ffs Paul give the bloke a chance. Its his first season in the prem and he is still learning. He is also competing against teams with far superior squads so what on earth did you expect? You may want more but you are being unrealistic. :ayatollah:

Re: malky has to go

Thu Dec 05, 2013 10:51 am

do norwich, villa, stoke and west ham have far superior squads? what about hull and Palace?

we are comepting with sides who have very similar squads to ours, i certainly wouldnt say far superior.

We have spend a shed load, he identified a winger (ince) almost straight away, and ended up getting no one in!

we are completely inept in an attacking sense, and after 14 games i think its a fair assessment, and also a fair amount of time to judge not only performances from players, but the manager too.
