Yes West Ham are looking at Malky. As to Mason, we did have injuries at the same time.

Annis, it was Malky's own words that Mason's loan was postponed due to Odemwingie's injury and now he's gone. Can't see any reason at all why this one would be true. If it had been done to spite Malky he just wouldn't have commented.
It's also no surprise that West Ham are interested in him - I can believe that one, Allardyce has only survived because he's done well for them. Their fans don't like him and now he's taken them into the bottom 4 he's going to have his head on the block. Malky's ex-West Ham, has been a success and is still young with modern techniques and philosophies. Why the hell wouldn't he be of interest to them. Also they are a bigger club than us and more chance of him taking that job than Norwich which right now would be a sideways step. In fact I was discussing this with a West Ham mate weeks ago.
As for Isaacs, that one is quite possible. He may well want to be in on the ride both for the glory and the possibility of making a big return. However he's small time compared to Tan. If Tan goes ahead with the debt to equity then Isaacs will be left with a smaller % of the club than you and I have now... IF this is true, then maybe it explains why the debt to equity change has dragged on.
Lets be fair its been a few weeks without some off the field action, so about time for something new.

It's clear as Day where the above info is coming from(scuse the pun), but Steve is long enough in the tooth to know these things change very quickly. I was also informed about Tan pulling the plug on the Mason deal. I wouldn't have dreamed of posting it on the eve of our biggest game in decades but that's your call and playing Manchester United was way too positive for some
As for other clubs who will be interested in Malky, Norwich and Fulham couldn't afford to buy his contract out and up until recently I would say West Ham were the only ones in the interested group who could. That was until very recently though but I'm told things aren't very rosy in the boardroom at the moment. Arranging compensation packages are the last thing on their mind at present
If Tan did veto the Mason deal(which I believe he did), then why the change of mind? I doubt if Steve knows yet
