Agree, We might play in red at the moment, but it's up to us to keep Cardiff blue.

Like I said in the original post about the new Visit Malaysia logo, their logos and colour scheme has always been predominantly blue. They appear to have adapted their advertising on the kit to fit in with the red, rather than vice versa. Take a look at the historical logos. They have never had a predominantly red theme.

This really is a non event in my opinion. They may be given new advertising collateral to place round the ground, but I don't think this will affect Tans view of the kit.

Just type in 'visit Malaysia logo' on Google and you'll see their colour scheme has not really changed for years.

Correct its totally NEW, it was put up today and the other BLUE one last week.

The backgrounds have always been white, but the word Malaysia has often been within a blue segment in the past. The general colour scheme has been very consistent for years.

The colour change came before the sponsorship and only an idiot would suggest Tan changed to red simply to attract a fairly small (in EPL terms) advertising contract with visit Malaysia.

Will the idiots own up? I wish I was wrong, but Tan won't change back to blue anytime soon.

Annis - was this sign blue before? I know some of the Malaysia signs were red, but not sure about this one. If it was red, then, who knows, maybe you could be right!

Personally, I think it would herald an absolutely huge party in Cardiff if we return to blue.

This might sound ridiculous, but I've even started to wonder if the rebrand could have been a deliberate attempt to LOSE customers! Very unlikely I know, but it is a well known business plan, where businesses have TOO MANY customers, they launch a campaign deliberately to try and offload! There are several examples where this has happened. Ok, it is unlikely in this case, but let's face it, if we were in the Prem in blue, we would definitely have an even bigger number of punters wanting to go down, almost too many for the club to handle. If we go back to blue, we are definitely going to need all the extra seats!

I think there may actually be some doubt about where Tan's loyalties lie. His family history has Chinese origins and he's tagged as a Chinese Malaysian in his own country.

He obviously knows how to manipulate the Malaysian government to suit his business interests, but does he actually have equally strong affiliations to China.
