WERE MAN UTD ?

Sun Nov 24, 2013 9:00 pm

Were Man Utd the worst team we have seen at home this season so far or is it still Swansea ? :laughing6:

Taking nothing away from our performance today or against the Jacks but they were both teams who didn't live up to their billing when they came to Cardiff :ayatollah:

Swansea Town were by far the worst team to visit us this season and they're fans were the quietest.

Man U very close to Swansea Town, poor disjointed team and very quiet fans.

You shouldn't ignore the fact of course that United were missing the spine of their team in Vidic, Carrick & Van Persie. 3 players who make an enormous difference to their side.

As for us, we were missing any sort of backbone that day.

No doubt in my mind Carl that Swansea are the worst team to visit the CCS this season. But having said that considering Man City, Everton, Spurs, Newcastle,Swansea and Man Utd have now played at the CCS this season it makes complete sense that the jerks would be the poorest side.

Not in the slightest. I'm simply stating facts. When we played them on the opening day, Van Persie basically beat us single-handedly. I'd loved for us to have played them without the 3 players mentioned.

To say Manu wer missing a couple of players is laughable, they brought on an England international in welbeck and have champ league quality all the way thru the team

We matched United in every department today and the clown above predicted that we'd get torn apart every week. :laughing6:

Not ignoring anything, just pointing out facts, it is a genuine question to ask who was the worst team so far at our stadium, it seems people think it was Swansea. :laughing6:

But don't worry your strikers had nothing to fear against our lot, did they :laughing6:

Proper Swansea Town aka Welsh Wigan fans realise that but Nob Jockey aka obsessed troller is not indicative of real Swansea Town fans, he's a Nob Jockey coming on here looking for his cheap thrills.

Re: WERE MAN UTD ?

Although Man U were missing these 3 top players it is not as if they were replaced by novices.

Man U could put out a second team that would get to the top 4, well under Fergy they could do. I doubt having Vidic, VP or the other one in the team would have made a massive difference. Man U are just simple not the team they have been since Fergy left.

We looked a real premier league side today, and we'll only get stronger

Best - Spurs
Worst - Jacks (unbiased)

We will have worse, but they were well off that day.

I think the main question is that has there been a better away side who has provided better profits for Lakeys pub so far this season..?

and what an excellent question :laughing6:

Who knows? You're the only team this season that RVP has destroyed, so our chances of keeping him quiet were good. Carrick is hit and miss(you can ask any United fan that), and any defender in the world would struggle with Whittinghams dead ball, and that includes Vidic

All that is irrelevant though

Not in the slightest. I'm simply stating facts. When we played them on the opening day, Van Persie basically beat us single-handedly. I'd loved for us to have played them without the 3 players mentioned.

The champions should have a good enough squad to cover injuries to 3 players regardless of who they are.
