Baked as much as I admire those who want a change back to blue and personally I'd probably prefer it alothough colour is not important to me anymore( far more important things to worry about in life) BU's credibility is awful there aren't many people outside our fan base that can take them seriously
Few reason why
1) formed a year after the controversial rebrand- for me this is the biggest of all, many papers and pundits players in the game just don't see the group as credable after fans taking a year to form any real opposition to the rebrand and in all honesty anyone who take off the Cardiff tinted glasses and looks at it from a neutral perspective will probably agree that the ship sailed long ago and little or no protest happened when it mattered
2) the bullshit posted by mainly youngsters on forums/ and other social media really detracts from what they are trying to achieve- against modern football banners from a load of adolescents who haven't even been around 5 minutes to actually know what history identity and bluebird actually means showing the world banners of protest against modern football which is all these silly young lads actually no, were they on the terraces before sky was introduced to the uk football world, nope! Have they made other genuine blue supporters look silly my opinion yes!
Did they take the real reason BU have marched on that occasion away from the march itself yes cos the focus was on them and how stupid they looked thus further reducing BU credibility
With this in mind I could add more but with the outside world barely acknowledging BU what chance has BU ever got of getting the one man that needs to take notice actually take notice?
I ask that as a serious question? That requires a serious logical answer not abuse etc
I firmly believe and always have that wearing blue chanting bluebirds and really gettin in TANS face in every single televised game is the best way to get the message to the world and to tan and his disciples, only then when the press continually ask questions will he maybe take note and whilst this is ongoing the supporters trust is the only real way to continue dialog with tan officially and for me that's the only wy it will ever change
Can I see it making any difference
100% not but it's the best and only credable way of trying to achieve anything
Some sensible posts would be nice but I doubt ill get them

Well lets be honest regarding the delayed response. There was a response in the beginning and I like their "publish" agenda. They came out with the idea of boycotting the shop and other peaceful ways. Exclude the smoke bomb suggestion becuase that was all it was a suggestion and it was revoked. However it did bring out the intentions of others amongst us who should take responsible for killing any response in the earlier days. At least the rise of BU has killed any threats coming from them.
My personal agenda against the rebrand was to wear the colour at all the games in the hope fellow fans would do likewise. The response was very disappointing to a degree that some of the older fans embraced the red. The overall reaction was very difficult to accept and I would say a lot of fans felt the same. Some accepted it and walked straight away while other it took time before they walked. I honestly beleive a lot more would have walked if BU had not beeen born. One thing I will put money on is that if it was not for the likes of BU then come next season when the premier novalty has worn off there would have been an exodus.
What the future is for blue is still in the air. History shows in this sort of thing that opposition to change is dead after a certain period of time which we have had UNLESS the oppresser scores an own goal. Tan has definitely done that a couple of times so there is hope yet for the blue. I would say the Brighton game was the start of BU.
I'm glad BU got started as I honestly believe blue would be practically dead by now. I hear some of the older fans saying let Tan spend his money, get us to the premier and established then lets go from there. Some of these fans have been very sensible in their approach to this and have remained in the back ground but sadly one or two have used the occasion to quench their thirst to belittle people. When the time comes for them to put their agenda together to turn on Tan then they better except the fact fans will not get behind them thanks to the one or two others.
My feeling about this idea of letting Tan pay for everything is flawed though. Just sitting back doing nothing allows the car to go down the road to far to a point of no return. Being prepared is the motto here and the only ones getting themsleves in that position are BU. Yes BU have had their problems but like it or not they are the only group to have achieved anything like getting media attention and that will stand them in good stead for when the right time comes.
Finally I will comment on the negatives of BU on here. I'm just glad a forum like this and all the others are a small minority. If the likes of BU get the timing right then this minority on here will have little if none importance.

I think that even though the return of Cardiff City's traditional identity, quite rightly, remains as BU's primary aim, it would be remiss of them not to challenge Tan's general running of the club - in the light of Iain Moody's departure and the well publicised unrest behind the scenes. Any protest organisation should always look to exploit opportunities. BU are doing what any similar body would do under the circumstances.
I don't agree with your comment that "BU seem to be getting desperate." I am quite sure that the good people running Bluebirds Unite are fully aware that this will be a long haul.
If Mackay is uncomfortable about having his image used in an advert, in my opinion, BU are doing the right thing by dropping it.
