It was always going to happen, it would've been great if we had there support last season and sell out all our home games in the run in.
We have shown so far this season what a great atmosphere we can make by having a full stadium.

If you think back to our last few seasons at NP, we had a hardcore of 10-12k, then 12-14k which then grew to around 20k when we came over to the CCS.
It grew because we were getting closer to the promised land and ofcourse some of the Wembley fans stayed on board.
We're now up to 24-25k regulars with a waiting list and if we are to go the next level up to say 28-30k regulars we have to stay up otherwise the stadium expansion will be pointless.
Out of interest how many think our crowds would have dropped this season had we stayed in the Championship, I definitely think they would.

If we had stayed in the Championship, prob 18,000 this season.

Same position as you mate. I know someone who's dad bought 4 season tickets having never been down before. Apart from the odd trip to Wembley

Such a shame, we should of sold every home game out last season, we couldnt even take more than 1,500 to Burnely to win the Championship for the first time ever, now fans will pay £50 to watch City at Chelsea, although to be honest a few rows of the fans up at Chelsea I had never seen any of them in my life before, Funny old world.
I would like to think our club will look after the fans away at Man Utd.

I don't think the attendance would have dropped straight away if we stayed in the championship, we still have a lot of supporters that have the 5 year price freeze and they would see that out first, but once finished I agree the attendances would drop.
