Those who want Malky gone

Sat Nov 09, 2013 8:20 pm

I won't bother reading through the overreacting drivel again, but sorry to tell you the boardroom issues are fast becoming resolved and I had a very interesting conversation at Villa Park today that Malky will be heavily backed financially in January and several creative targets have already been pinpointed

We've started the season as competitively as any of the newly promoted sides in living memory. There's much room for improvement but some of our so called"fans"are laughable

Totally agree, we have more points at this stage of the season than I could have dreamed of. There is more room for improvements but hopefully that can be sorted in January. :malky:

Nice one Pal, as usual nice to see a fellow positive fan who understands we shouldn't consider away at Villa as three easy points, God some of our fans are thick as shit and unbelievably negative and fickle....

Greet news that Malky is the future and that we will get some reinforcements in, let's not forget our 2nd biggest transfer has been injured all season, and will hopefully be back soon :ayatollah: :malky:

I can see people's reservations and I share some of them, but I'm more than satisfied how we've started the season and how competitive we are

Exactly, 12 points is a great start keeps us in the game which is where we want to be, if we were in Sunderland or palaces situation then I'd be worried

Re: Those who want Malky gone

It's not pretty, but Malky has worked from back to front first. We've all got our opinions, i'd like to have seen Kimbo have 30 mins today and Noone have a run too, BUT Malky has got us 12 from 11 and that is a decent return and he deserves our support.

Re: Those who want Malky gone

Doesn't it worry you all that Malky doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes?

Three seasons in we still have absolutely no style of play, his one tactic is to strangle the life out a game then nick a goal at a set piece. In open play we offer nothing at all, clubs will get wise to this soon enough and then what?

People keep saying he is still learning but from where I am standing his tactic is if plan A fails it's stick to the plan and hope for the best. We show zero attacking intent (Same last year but at that level a touch of quality often was enough) against teams that are genuinely there for the taking.

Villa were crap and if he showed a touch of courage a victory could have been ours.

Possibly the biggest issue I have with him is this deluded notion that Cowie is good enough. Average championship player is being kind yet he always finds a place for him or just has to bring him on. Nooney and Kimbo are sat on the bench yet we are chasing the game with him out wide is an absolute joke.
Everyone in this squad is here because Malky wants/signed them so why the hell has Nooney not had 1 minute of premier league action? Must be demoralising for players when they see Cowie's inclusion all the time.

Hopefully Cornelius hits the ground running but where is the service going to come from? Son of Malky isn't going to be swinging crosses his way from wide that's for sure.

Fair enough and if he's backed, thats fine. However, I do recall Tan saying there won't be much money available for January and of course you can only go by what you know. If we get 21 points on the board by January 1st we have a strong chance of staying up especially if we spend and grow from there.

Without backing in January Malky has no chance and the signs are all there.

I have faith in malky but ONLY if he learns and changes his ways by not playing so negative and attack and create more than what we are doing so far this season.
And if like you say we have identified creative players to sign in January then that sound pretty promising to be fair so let's just see if malky can adapt tactically because if he can add that to the rest of his credentials as a manager then I'm sure we will see us kicking on

Can you read and actually decipher a point FFS? It seems common on here that people just skim over things without reading them then come out with some inane tripe. If you're going to entertain a debate then at least read it.

I do think he'll be sacked and I do think he should be sacked still. He should be sacked for wasting money in the summer on the likes of Cornelius (yes a waste, almost 1/3rd through the season and useless) and on Brayford etc.) However, if he's backed then we might just survive. Without backing in January, as Tan said before there'd be very little funds, there's not a chance in hell we'd stay up as we have no creative outlet or threat.

Don't know anyone who wants him gone other than Angelis.

But would like him to let em off the leesh now and then...

Villa were there for the taking ...

Cornelius isn't yet a failure or a waste of money,he hasn't played yet.Lets wait and see when he plays.

you say he's wasted money yet you say give him more and we may survive. The only inane tripe is coming from your chameleon gob.

angelis, polo and myself want him gone. Craig is frustrated with his football although I'm not sure if he wants him gone.

A lot of our fan base love Malky more than the club. Its disturbing. I will be relieved in other ways when Malky is finally axed as then maybe some fans will see that he isn't the be all and end all of Cardiff City and we can and will, as we have done in the past, get by without him.

One third of the season down and he's not played or added anything to our campaign. Waste of money if you ask me. That is a lot of money to just be out of the team and injury my arse. He's been in the development team and thereabouts and the next moment he's suddenly back down the Heath.

Agreed. Stopped us getting smashed 4-0 or 5-0 today with his tackles and interceptions. He alone however is not Superman and is not going to keep us up.

Agreed but so far inconsistent. Sideways and backwards a lot today as pointed out by Malky who signalled at him to play it forward more often.

If he stays. I'd rather he went as pointed out already. I refuse to take seriously some troll account online that has named himself after a shark from a movie.

Wouldnt say I want him gone but wouldnt bother me if he did go. Cardiff Citys bigger than one man.

i am torn cos I think hes a top bloke, a real leader of men but I cant abide by his negative percentage football.

Weve done well to amass 12 points so far but can we keep getting the breaks over 38 games? I dont think so. Weve failed to score in 5 of the 11 games and lets be honest the 2 0-0s we had against Everton and Norwich where we picked up points we were battered.

People are saying we cant expect to beat Villa maybe not but we can at least expect to go there and have a go. They are not the Vilka of old they spent last season in the relegation zone for the most part, were off form, crippled with injuries yet we set up as if we were going to Old Trafford???

I also find it remarkable Malky spent 35m in the summer and weve got Don Cowie wide right.

Heavily backed in jan hmm make this a sticky in jan and I'll believe it when it comes...... If he's still here that is, I'm just sick to death of the MM boring style of football which musters up 12 shots on target over six games that's not much kop for the customer entertainment wise which is what I am now :ayatollah:
