Tans rebrand, has cost him legend status @ Cardiff

Fri Nov 08, 2013 7:24 pm

Putting aside the last few weeks nonsense, his name would have been sung loud and proud over the last 18 months, and heard all over the world, this season especially. Improving his profile all over Asia, and more importantly to him in Malaysia. So Mr Tan return us to Blue, and see how popular you become, oh and call the dogs off your/our manager and let him do his job with no interference, and you will hear your name being sung loud and proud around CCS and elsewhere ;)

Think most City fans would forgive and forget, and believe you would here his name chanted within weeks, too stubbon or thick to realise the benifits to him, especially with the media coverage. If he sort to do it without losing face, ie he didnt realise what it ment to fans, (not customers), who have followed the club for decades and generations :ayatollah:

I wouldn't chant his name, I still dislike him regardless of the rebrand

He has to eat some humble pie, but I would definitely forgive him and focus on the good he's done.

The rebrand was such an enormous mistake.

Return us to Blue Vincent, and all the criticism will be over!

Don't think he's the type to eat humble pie, think he's power crazy dangerous and used to getting his own way, but hopefully he's got so much invested, that to just protect his investment yet along to make a profit, hopefully he may have learnt a short sharp lesson and stand back a step or two and let the experts get on with things. :old:

As fans, we need to prove to him how much better things would be under blue. Hopefully he'll realise in time, if we are united enough as City fans.

I'd forgive him for the rebrand, but the rebrand isn't the only thing I have a problem with regarding Tan.

Well when Malky and Tan refuse to comment on the situation it's pretty obvious the stories are true.

There's no bullshit about sacking one of Malky's trusted staff and replacing him with a family friend with no footballing experience. :thumbright:

So people are happy to believe rumours when it supports Tan then?!

Even if he was doing so, Tan was responsible for hiring the replacement, which was totally stupid. A totally inexperienced friend of the family, who's previous football experience was painting the corridors of the CCS.
