Adedeji Oshilaja

Tue Nov 05, 2013 2:28 pm

Started for us at fleetwood saturday, and i was hugely impressed. He did make a couple of mistakes in the first half, but overall he had an excellent game, and certaintly looks like one for the future for you.
Unfortunately for us we must have one of the most inept referees officiating saturday, sending off willmott off for handball on the line after only 2mins, when his hands were down by his sides, and for some of his other decisions, i'm still trying to fathom them out now.
Be nice if we could extend the loan till the end of the season, because with our injury list especially in defence, he's going to get considerable valuable game time. Looks like you've got a gem there.

Cheers for keeping us updated on him.

I reckon they might extend the loan for you.

Looks sure to start against pompey next tuesday, and the league game against hartlepool on the friday. Whether he plays at braintree saturday in the fa cup, is all depending if kardiff don't want him cup-tied?

cant see him getting anywhere near ever our FA Cup team. With Hudson and Connelly, or possibly Brayford playing at CB, would imagine Nugent would be called back first if there were injuries, and we have that Argentianian we signed in the summer too.

Im sure he will be allowed to play for you.

That sending off was one of the most pathetic things in the world.

A penalty would have been very harsh but that was something else...

None of the Fleetwood players were even calling for it. Absolute madness.

Apparently he's got alot of previous and probably the worst referee i have ever seen having watched county for nearly 40 years. When the ex-jb brendan rogers was manager at reading, he basically called him incompetent, and at a game at burnley, he even sent off the mascot FFS  . just hope we don't get that clown again this season! What a fecking prick

Youll have to excuse Paul hes a bit dim.

Today alone he thinks Toronto isnt that far and Uruguay is in Argentina. :kermit:

Looks like he wont be playing in the fa cup at Braintree Saturday as he has picked up a knee injury at Fleetwood! We're not having a lot of luck with injuries this season, with at least six first-teamers out

Any other decent players you could loan us  :D

Your not after a slovenian striker by any chance, free to a good home or a painter and decorator without a visa

I've watched him at least a half dozen times in the development squad games, you've got a good one there. :ayatollah:

Nah we're ok for forwards thanks, but could certaintly do with another defender off you with our current injury list.

A painter and decorator could be useful if we win the johnstones paint pot trophy competition, which we are currently winning after scoring more than wolves yesterday, and the hazel stand could certaintly do with a spruce up with all the paint given as 1st prize for the winners.
But does he have a cscs card? if not our club could always get hold of that brownie bloke, and perhaps his agency could sort us out with a decent one

He's been passed fit for tomorrow, so should start against pompey, with all our other injury problems in the defence, so get over the county and see how your future CB is doing, plus 700 pompey fans are coming :)

Well, what a prospect you've got there, The lad won everything tonight as was easily my M.O.M, well joint with conor Washington. Even chipped in with the 2nd goal. I'd love if we could extend his loan till the end of the season. :)

hope you keep us updated. His influence in the development side has grown steadily over the last 18 months, With Turner looking increasingly likely not to make it with us, would be good to have another one come through.

That is a very original opinion about Turner.

Seems to me that all the evidence - from team sheets to performance to glowing tributes from Malky - is that Turner has already made it with us!

Like some of the other guys have said, he's been pretty consistent in our Dev games and pleased he's doing well with you. Would be good if you could keep us updated.

Very impressed with him last night. Although Pompey were piss poor. Thought the Pompey fans were great. Apart from the irritating prick with the bells!!

Was that there 'Superfan'? Always thought he was just a plain loon but he actually owns an antique bookshop by day. That said, he is basically a loon though, as he officially changed his name from John Westwood to 'John Anthony Portsmouth Football Club Westwood'. Oh yeah, and his 60 tatts.

Interesting interview with him, on the NCFC 'message board'. under the thread 'Portsmouth interviews'

Just went on 'wikipedia' regarding deji, and was surprised to find he was born in bemondsey, and joined CCFC's academy at 16. I'm astonished, that local London clubs like wall, Charlton or palace didn't spot this obviously talented youngster, but instead ended up at kardiff. The scout who spotted him deserves a pat on the back as what I've seen of him so far, this lad is going places.

I'll post on here later tonight, to let you know how he played against Hartlepool. I'm pretty certain, he'll definitely start.

Re: Adedeji Oshilaja

Fri Nov 15, 2013 5:35 pm

Is in the starting line-up. Here's hoping for another cracking performance from the lad. CTID :thumbright:

Time to go for a few beers. Win tonight and upto 4th, with half our best players have been out for the majority of the season

Re: Adedeji Oshilaja

Fri Nov 15, 2013 10:42 pm

Another solid performance by deji, and didn't put a foot wrong, but TBH none of the defence had a lot to do, as pools were dire.
Another convincing win for county to take us up to 4th. League 1 here we come :malky:

Been cleared to play in the fa cup replay tonight vs Braintree, so is sure to start. A big thank you to malky and ccfc for allowing this to happen :)

Will let you know he played later on. Time to go for a few sherbets :D
